No one is trading a a high quality QB for an edge player. And if they are trading Watt for picks that is a rebuild and no way in hell Tomlin should be involved in that.

I mentioned a trade I think the rebuild should be in full force rather than whining seasons for the foreseeable
Watt is going nowhere unless he requests a trade. We live in the age of idiots trying to earn clicks so idiot proposals pop up everywhere..
There should be a law where after ten straight nonsense trade proposals fall through, that person is banned from tge entire internet for a month... if they fail ten more times, they get banned three months.. then six... then a year..

There are many many players I'd trade him for but not one of their teams is going to make that deal. And if they are......there is something I do not know about that player. Truth is not a chance they are winning a SB with Watt. He won't be here substantially longer then Shades and certainly not in his Prime. So if you are saying Watt for Stroud. As much as Watt is my favorite player of a generation......
There is no player or players you could trade TJ for who would elevate the Steelers above the top six teams in the AFC that I’ve mentioned previously.
In other words, Shades’ streak of seasons without a playoff win is going to continue.

Totally agree but if it's a Q that I believe is a franchise guy (hypothetically) I trade anyhow. Fields isn't even in that universe.

I would in a heartbeat. As much as a love Watt, I'll take a franchise QB over all.
So, if you would trade Watt for Stroud, then it is not crazy to trade Watt to the Bears for the 1st pick and draft Caleb Williams. If you do your homework and you decide that Caleb really is that next superstar, then I would absolutely be talking to the Bears.

Chances Caleb Williams is a star QB and building block: 20%. He is not NFL-size, holds the ball in the pocket, forces throws into coverage, and reminds me a lot more of Bryce Young than Marcus Stroud.

Stroud looked great his rookie year, but it was one season. All signs point to him being great, but we will see what happens once teams get tape on him. I would not trade Watt for anyone currently. I think Watt could be even better with a better defensive scheme. Watt is our best most consistent player and we should be able to build around that

He's 6'1" 216 lbs. As long as we're not talking kyler murray-esque height, then he's fine. And 20%?? Yeah, I think you're definitely selling him way too short.
