Coolie Pimps Coogs 2025

looked to me that duke got tired trying to match the Coog's intensity

lot of short shots and aboslutely no rebounding down the stretch
Duke fan here, but I'm not too upset. Final four appearances aren't easy. With that said, Duke had no answers for the full court press, couldn't get the ball in, looked unorganized and confused. A few times the in bounder double clutched and/or threw a really bad pass in bounds. When you have Flagg with a guard playing front deny, you don't throw it at his chest. You lob it up high where only Flagg can get it. But Houston made shots when it counted and Duke did not. They had a shot, a good look, and just left it short.

I'm still shocked that Duke managed to blow that lead, but I guess I'm glad they did. I still have a shot at winning my pool. If someone had asked, I would have sworn that Houston won a national title with Phi Slama Jama. I was truly surprised when I heard they had never won one.

Looks lik flagg and Wilson both jump for this pass....just a really good defensive play

Yeah, that one needed to be higher. I was talking about the next one? It was the one where he couldn't run the baseline, and it was almost the 5 sec violation. But you can see in both of those angles, there isn't much movement or spacing. It wasn't pretty...but it goes to show, how one team was able to keep their composure and the other one wasn't. I mean, you had that tech called and they didn't panic. Held it together and kept fighting. You could see it in the huddle before the final Duke possession. Duke players looked like they already lost, Houston was staying calm and focused. It was a great game, great finish. Houston deserves all the credit.

Thanks for the replays Coolie.!!!

Exciting as hellA

My question to all, who is going to win the NC ?

Salute the nation

I really thought that the tech was the nail in the coffin...

Tugler kept his head though and finished strong. Experience matters in games like that one

It's crazy all the stuff that had to happen for Houston to win. Cooper Flagg made a shot with 10:31 left to make the score 58-45 Duke. They made one basket the rest of the game, a three pointer by Flagg with 3:03 left to put Duke up by 9. Duke scored 9 points over the final 10:31 and Houston scored 25.

I was sort of rooting for Houston but didn't really care who won. Just wanted to see a good game. That may have been the most anti-climactic ending to a championship I've ever seen. The only worse way to end would be penalty kicks.

Especially in a basketball game

It was suggested under the new NFL overtime changes that overtime in the regular season will be decided by a ping pong game…between the kickers. This will greatly reduce the chance of injuries.

Wizard of Boz!

Until a rash of tennis elbow injuries start flooding the injured reserve lists
