Steeleers 3rd round pick = RB Kaleb Johnson

Seems like a great choice for the Steelers at RB. He's got an impressive burst of speed. If Najee had a speed burst like that he would have been the complete RB.

Definitely reminds me of LeVeon Bell.

Wow stop the annoying adds I’ve been here ten years, it turns viewers off when you got to correctly hit 3 x,s Simmer Down$

I don’t know much about him but they needed to invest a decent pick on a RB. I don’t think Warren will hold up physically unless he gets spelled by another good RB

Welcome Kaleb!

I wonder if not picking a WR here or trading Pickens by now means they are going to keep Pickens and hope he behaves for one more year…it would be nice if Pickens was productive and we get a comp pick for him in 2026 but I’m afraid his attitude will be worse than ever this year

Iowa's offense stinks. He didn't get an easy yards. Defenses were stacked against the run and he still produced

It's good he is used to that because he will be seeing the same thing here, unless we magically end up with a legitimate starter.

Dude looks like the way ya want a back to run.
Good vision, anticipation, burst and zero fear of contact. Does well snagging the ball out of the air using his hand placement and body control to adjust to poorly thrown balls.

I don’t give two thoughts to that 40 time cuz it’s a way over rated stat. The kid produced on the field.

Welcome to the team!
Another much needed addition.

Some guys look faster in full pads than their 40 times would indicate. Seems very much to be the case here.

Football speed, can’t teach it……………………..

Good job with this pick. They got their battering Ram. He will make a nice set of half backs with Warren and Gainwell

First of all ....Welcome to the Steelers Kaleb!
My question for the guys that have watched him in games played. Is Najee his comparison? Faster, slower, better vision? His highlights of course look great....like all college highlight reels.
ESPN had his comparison pre-draft as Demarco Murray. In his very short prime that guy was a beast.

And I was about to post that Tomlin's fascination with small fast guys that fall down when someone breathes on them seems to have been replaced with a burgeoning fascination with big slow guys. Najee leaves...and we get this guy.

Now mind you I loved Naj, but at times he seemed to be running in quicksand. Remember college defender quickness is not NFL defender quickness. Hope he pans out.

Harris didn't have the xtra gear. He was who he was. We will see how Johnson works out. Hopefully he can step in right away and do well.

Great pick Steelers! Solid and great value here for a bruising RB who will compliment both Warren and Gainwell nicely.

Nothing against Warren, but I'm glad the Steelers drafted a RB who can keep Warren in his 1B role--that is where he'll succeed the most. I also like they have a diversified skillset in the backfield.

I'm happy with this pick as well. I would not have broken the TV with the remote had they taken a RB at 21, but ultimately the team made the right call. The drop off in talent at the DT position from pick 21 to the pick in the third was much much greater than at RB.
