Seems like a great choice for the Steelers at RB. He's got an impressive burst of speed. If Najee had a speed burst like that he would have been the complete RB.
Definitely reminds me of LeVeon Bell.

Iowa's offense stinks. He didn't get an easy yards. Defenses were stacked against the run and he still produced
A real Difference is that this one got drafted in a high value spot for his talent, while najee was a reachAI basically said they are identical brothers.
oh pleeze i dont need to hear cooch yammering about 40 times for next 3 yrs

Some guys look faster in full pads than their 40 times would indicate. Seems very much to be the case here.

ESPN had his comparison pre-draft as Demarco Murray. In his very short prime that guy was a beast.First of all ....Welcome to the Steelers Kaleb!
My question for the guys that have watched him in games played. Is Najee his comparison? Faster, slower, better vision? His highlights of course look great....like all college highlight reels.
And I was about to post that Tomlin's fascination with small fast guys that fall down when someone breathes on them seems to have been replaced with a burgeoning fascination with big slow guys. Najee leaves...and we get this guy. Some guys look faster in full pads than their 40 times would indicate. Seems very much to be the case here.
Harris didn't have the xtra gear. He was who he was. We will see how Johnson works out. Hopefully he can step in right away and do well. And I was about to post that Tomlin's fascination with small fast guys that fall down when someone breathes on them seems to have been replaced with a burgeoning fascination with big slow guys. Now mind you I loved Naj, but at times he seemed to be running in quicksand. Remember college defender quickness is not NFL defender quickness. Hope he pans out.
Nothing against Warren, but I'm glad the Steelers drafted a RB who can keep Warren in his 1B role--that is where he'll succeed the most. I also like they have a diversified skillset in the backfield.Great pick Steelers! Solid and great value here for a bruising RB who will compliment both Warren and Gainwell nicely.
