The Official Please Don't Draft Shedeur Sanders Thread

I hope Deion is happy, he's handed him everything and has been blowing sunshine up his *** and he's not nearly as good as he's been told. I saw the guy had a custom build room at the draft that has words like "perfect" and " legendary" printed on the walls. Now Deion is bitching about Orlovsky pointing out flaws in his sons game. Deion is a big part of why no one is drafting him.

It seems like Shedeur might have

"AAAARRRRRGGGGOOOOOOOOS!"

in his future.

My boys are thinking Elgersma might get picked before him, lol.

(This will make more sense for Paul G, Steelman, Sask, Phinnster, etc.....maybe DIC is so far north he knows what this means)
Haha or maybe Mr. Rourke. The plane boss the plane.

The more I dig the more I think there was a lot of multi- factorial reasons he is still on the board:

1 In college daddy came calling then left his primary team - nothing wrong with your situation but he bailed.
2 A lot of short passes inflating accuracy statistics
3 During interview process allegedly left face time call on. A huge no no in a job interview process.
4 Daddy pre draft stated the desire for him not to go to a bottom tier team.
5 No exceptional arm strength or scrambling ability.

Just a lot for teams to think about as is the value greater than-the potential team headaches.

Deion ****** it up for his son. All of that Primetime bullshit drilled into him before he's done a damn thing.

The drafting genius of Mel Kiper:

"This match would have made all the sense in the world. The Saints play indoors at the Caesars Superdome, which alleviates any arm strength concerns."

Uhhh ... playing indoors alleviates a deficiency in arm strength? Is there some magic velocity increase stemming from playing indoors?

He has probably been humbled to some extent and he and his dad will have huge boulders on their shoulders. I'd seriously look to get him in the 4th even if it means trading a 2026 mid to late round pick to do it. As I said before, at this point in the draft, it is a very low risk for a potentially very high reward. He is the most accurate QB in this class and has the arm talent and touch to make all the throws. And, he's mobile enough to extend plays and run when needed.

Kiper and other pundits (but especially Kiper) would label the Steelers getting Sanders in the 4th as the pick (and the steal) of this draft. In a few years, we'd find out for sure but he can't be labeled a bust if we took a flyer on him in the 4th. Heck, they traded up for Loudermilk or some other D scrub a couple years ago so why not do it on a QB.
I worry that being humbled isn’t in the Sanders DNA and they’ll be a distraction until he is starting, playing well and winning Anything short of that and I think there will be public criticism of the team and coaches.

I agree but at this point, the risk is worth the reward, especially if they don't have to trade up in the 4th to get him. They need to draft a QB. I'd take the shot. If he looks good but his attitude is too much, you can always trade him for something and if he sucks, just cut him. He wouldn't be a bust as he is a mid-round pick and no one expects most mid-round picks to be great.

Stop. Dart had on plenty of bling too. No complaints about him? The only "normal" cut was the big OL in the evergreen suit and it still was a bit flashy for his size...

Your hating for no reason add nothing he does affects your way of life or living.

Shedeur had a custom draft room build with a huge marquee reading “Legendary”, the same word as his diamond studded necklace. Throw in the interview stories and it’s clear he ain’t getting drafted.

Can you imagine him sitting there in the 7th and we pick Rourke or Elgersma ahead of him?Have you converted your boys to be big time Steeler fans? DIC is too busy putting on his speedos and riding around Main Street in his shiny new tractor. Hoping all the young ladies are so enticed, they invite him in for “supper”.

They turn the jet stream fans on at his back whenever Aints are on field…problem solved

I heard Kiper last night. His elevator isn't going all the way up. He made this sound like some real world travesty like a man spending his life in prison for something he didn't do. It's a combination of him over rated physically and off putting interview. He probably isnt a 4th round talent but many of us were very concerned about him not being a first round talent either. I feel We've been proved right. Kiper was once again wrong. I have a little more faith in Jeremiah and frankly would move up and take him in the 4th. In fact I'd have been OK in the third.

It makes sense but maybe Mels word choice was poor?

Playing indoors is a distinct advantage as there is no cold/hot weather. There is no wind...Never rain & never snow...Grass is never torn up

Playing indoors takes out alot of issues that QB's in the AFC North face weekly...It could/would change what type of QB you would possibly take...

But eventually you have to go on the road.

Kiper had moved Sanders to his QB1 and felt he should go at least in the top 5, if not the top 3. He's been doing this a loooooong time. I don't know what his career percentages are as far as who he picks and doesn't, but he has a ton of respect for being the "original" draft prognosticator.

that'd be so funny.
Have you converted your boys to be big time Steeler fans?
Yep, they were born right, Terrible Towel on Day 1. Got 1 big time Pickens fan, who still wears Juju's 19. The older one, who played DE/TE, is a Muuth fan because every noob has a 90 jersey, lol.

Nice work if you can get it.

Yup...That is why it makes sense only for a homed dome team

Bad weather games slightly increase the importance of arm strength but the requirement for an NFL QB to be able to put the ball down the field with velocity is literally present for throw into a tight window.

Kiper is garbage... he exists because he started doing draft projections before anyone else...

He once bet he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasnt a successful NFL qb... but like all of his legions of failed projections, simply ignored it when it was wrong
