Day 3 Steeler Picks

Not impressed with Yahya (thought he was a 6th tops), nor the 7th rounders who feel like ps guys.

Guess switching Howard and Yahya order would make more sense

Yahya is one of the drafts best run defenders.

This team is desperate to not look like folding little ******* again. That run D was shredded against the rats.

You can rotate Black in and he will help against those heavy run teams like the rats.

I wanted yayah. Just thought was a bit early

Yahya pronounced “Why-hay”?
Would never have pronounced it right if I hadn’t heard the play by play announcer.
That’s what it sounded like to me.

Welcome to Pittsburgh big guy!
And that he is …330lbs

I got a feeling they are gonna get every bit of this kid's effort to be more then a backup. Watching his highlights he makes every throw and plays prostyle.

The fact he played under center a lot for THE Ohio State, is a big kid, and has a plus-arm are all valuable assets. Having 30+ starts for KSU and THE Ohio State helps as well. Playing in college football's biggest theater last year is another plus.

He is a 6th round pick because he had a terrible throwing day at the combine. Showed he has some mechanical issues since he was struggling to throw accurately on the move, had his feet in a poor position leading to the poor throws. I did not watch much college football last season so my take is pretty weak, but I did not see the poor mechanics vs. Notre Dame. He does like to throw to the first read and will hold the ball, waiting for that guy to get open rather than move on. Those are all coaching challenges.

Which scares me a bit. Where is Todd Haley today?
