The Enemy of the People Thread

I couldn't tell you the title of any network sitcom currently on air or any late night comedians these days. I used to love watching SNL, Letterman and was in tune with Cheers, Seinfeld, Wings, The Cosby Show, etc... Once the 2000s hit, it all went to ****.
It's all of TV now. You can't watch a series without half the cast being homosexual, and at least one interracial couple, the male being whyte, of course.
It adds nothing to the story line, just a mandatory addition by the writers and producers of the show.

Admittedly an old man rant, but I'm not wrong.

I don’t think there were any fruits in Landman.

I'm on the GOP Committee in the next county and might have been there but I had to work and wouldn't have got there in time.
Three friends and one co-worker were right down front and VERY close to the shooting.
The guy you see with the blood on his shirt who tried help Mr. Camperatore is my neighbor and a very close friend.

Rosie. Ellen, Big Mike have all become irrelevant. It's a waste of time talking about them.

I was listening to the radio yesterday and heard the new catchphrase to scare the **** out of people this spring: "Pollen Bomb". I see clouds of pollen every spring but never knew a bomb was involved.

We might consider locking down until this threat is gone. Maybe 2 weeks.
We should also stay 6 feet away from any pollen.

Follow the science

They can sell commercial time like everyone else does, they can sell subscriptions to their broadcasts like many do, and they can continue to seek pledges like they constantly do now.
I haven't watched anything on PBS in years and always found it annoying that they interrupt the program ever 5 minutes to beg for money.
Let them compete for viewers, sink or swim, it should be up to them and those that feel the need to watch and listen to them.
