Popejoy sees the Steelers at 7-10

There are 20+ posters on this board who offer better insight on a daily basis.
He wasn't that far off, we had a couple lucky wins he didn't forecast. But he mostly got the collapse right: 5 game losing streak to end the season. Clown-lin in total freak out mode, not knowing what to do, leads to blow out losses to end the season. No surprise there.

It’s been a looooong off season!
All I know is no one and I mean no one knows **** about how this season will turn out.
This happens every off season without fail. Everyone has an opinion and a prediction.
There’s just far too many variables that occur during a season to put any real stock in all these predictions.
Come September buckle up boys and let the fun begin.

Well, there is one thing we do know: Come playoffs, if we do make them, we won't win a single game during them, that is pretty safe to predict, basing it on the last 8 years.

So what do you like about the Steelers?]

I remember game threads when they sucked he had plenty to say, when they played well crickets.

Cooch only likes him some negative.

Always has been that one trick pony, always will be.

Cooch is an old rusted tool in a shed. There and uglying up the place. Not really good for anything. There until the owner gets tired of looking at it and decides to throw it away.

He just hates everything about Tomlin. When Mikey is gone maybe he hates the next HC. Maybe not. Might be a long time though until we find out.🥴

That guy would just obsess over his next on the list. I have seen enough of him over the years to know if I isn’t the head coach it would be a player he would beat to death.

Yeah Mike we are probably stuck with him unfortunately for a while.

Well on the positive side he brings us all together with commonality of distaste. That in itself may help keep us from bickering more amongst ourselves…………..

I also see him being used as the punchline by many pro & ameter-ish football comedians, except most is no joke because he just gets it wrong.

Also the rusted O’l tool is the most used tool here. He is happy for the attention regardless of good or bad.

The Polamalu head size is probably the most noted account of his fame. How’s that for reconition ?

Salute the nation

I don't really care what anyone predicts. I also will cheer for them to win every game and that Rudolph like several other players I've seen at the position will have a late renaisance. That said I am completely unafraid of 6-11. Because short of that light going on big time for Rudy. It's the fastest way back to where I want this team to be. I might be in the minority but I don't really want Rogers. And not just because of the circus act it will bring. I just don't want another 10-7. Unless it's Rudy playing really well ir better yet the rookie pressed into action and looking very good. No more band aids. Cut the limb off. Sink or swim. And if its sink get rid if Tomlin. Start over and get a building block QB.

Contrary what some banter about, I to choose to to root for the Steelers each and every game. It's just with the current ownership and coaching, it's simply a futile effort; Art is not made of the same material that brought 6 SB trophies home, that much is evident, and Clown-lin? Forget about it. He doesn't have the right stuff to get us more trophies. He's ripping off Cowher's work to begin with. We are stuck in neutral with the current owner and head coach. Perhaps a 6-10 record can finally get some real changes around here, nothing else has. We's gone backwards the last 8 years, maybe over 10. It's sad. Worse than Noll ever did. 7 years without a playoff win.

I think almost all of us are over Tomlin. We just don't obsess over it in every single post.
We could be talking about how amazing the 70s were for steeler fans and somehow Clloyd squirrels Tomlin into the conversation.

Yep. But it's like your little brother when you were kids. Damn, he'd piss me off sometimes, I'd want to kick him in his ***. And even if other people wanted to kick him in his ***...to a point. Then there is the point in which it is so over the top, constant, that you end up finding something to defend him about.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen you actually root for the Steelers.
You just seem to show up to complain.
