Gabe Davis Coming to Steeler’s Facility

By no means do I consider myself on the same level of importance as any of these fine posters. Hell, Coolie isn’t even a poster, he’s the actual social conscious of the board!

WhoAley **** Ike, slash and I are going to have to make a LUXURY S10 trip to pick you up, take you out for some social education !!!

Return you home injury free, but psychologically tested.

Carry on good SIR !!!

Salute the nation

Bright future? He had better numbers in his 3rd/4th year two years ago than his rookie year. Got a the big FA contract in 2024 after his rookie deal expired and then got hurt. New regime change in JAX and was cut. You know this, you live there, but those pesky facts get in the way. He’s younger than than Cooper, who may still be recovering from injury while in BUF. Which is the lessor risk? We know you have no clue.
Dang gum it!!! I have warned you about put real truth/facts in your responses to Cooch…

And back to the OP - when did Brandon Aiyuk change his name to Gabe Davis???

🤣🤣🤣

Davis would be a WR3. His career numbers are of a guy who appears to be a one-trick pony. Go deep. Even with Allen throwing to him in Buffalo, he was closer to a WR3 than a WR2, and his career numbers show the same story. If he's cheap, he might be a reasonable addition to the WR room with the understanding he has to earn his position in the pecking order. Right now, that'd be anywhere from a WR2 down to even WR4 if Austin and Wilson light up the preseason.

predictions:
we sign Gabriel Davis and he gets some unfortunate injury by Week 4 and misses multiple games
we also trade for Kyle Pitts... and he does less than Darnell Washington for the season, despite getting more reps

Where's Jonnu?

We do need another field stretcher, we have zero depth in that department behind DK

If the deep ball is his only skill, then we know why Tomlin brought him in. It's too bad he wasn't here last year since he would have had 2000 yards receiving with Wilson's moon ball.

I think your Pitts prediction is too high. Anyone the team trades for during the season is automatically in the dog house and barely gets playing time even if they are better than others at the same position getting all of the time.

A position which was extremely weak to start with and the reason they made the trade in the first place.

TE is now a need. Ju know???
Watch the Steelers trade for Jonnu and include Washington in the trade. My prediction for next season is Washington actually gets used by the Dolphins and ends up with better stats by the end of the year than the guy the team ends up trading a draft pick for.

To “earn a position in the pecking order” what would he really need to do?

Surpass Roman Wilson’s production last year?
Surpass Van Jefferson’s production last year?

Seems easy enough, it’s not like that room is loaded with talent…or maybe it is and they’re just not using anybody properly

At any rate seems like a pretty easy room to earn that position in said pecking order in.

Curious, who do you have already penciled in at WR2? CA3??

It's his job to find one, he's failed for 2 straight years. That's great. Nice job.
wasn't the question you were asked. rather than make a suggestion, you prefer to just *****, whine and complain. duly noted going forward, Clownloyd.

If you add Davis and Metcalfs stats together you would almost have top 10 WR numbers??
