Game Balls, Game Goats & FU's.............week 2 vs Seattle.....

Where are you hearing this??
I read it on social media. That's why I said "Did I see that correctly..." It didn't make any sense to me. There is so much clickbait out there these days. I usually try to find multiple sources before I post something more as fact than putting a disclaimer in there.

Although, he was the least of the problems yesterday, he also wasn't the solution. TJ Watt can't beat the man in front of him anymore. I hope he gets it back, but right now it aint there. I watched the all-22 last week and keyed on him several times yesterday.

Chuck Noll wasn’t fired. He retired.
Haven’t you heard the joke …the three professions that you keep for life are a Pope, a Supreme Court Justice, and a Steeler head coach?

Noll "retired" with a huge nudge. Shove. Double-team block out the door.

My dad reminded me of Chuck Noll soooo much. The two had the same quiet demeanor, substantial intellect, and burning desire to win. My dad also looked a lot like Chuck Noll.

I'm guessing that practicing against Fautanu every day does not improve his game. Butter does not sharpen iron.

After this one all I can say is $185 Million spent on Defense and this Defense through 2 weeks is one of the NFL's worst! It seems like every week we give up 100+ yards to a running back. Today Walker averaged about 8 yards per carry! And it was earlier this week I think we heard Teryl Austin say "He sees no need for a Nose Tackle in today's NFL". That statement alone should have got him FIRED! Since 2012 the year Casey Hampton retired the Steelers have only been a Top 5 Defense vs the run.....one time however during Hampton's career with the Steelers the worst the Steelers Defense ever ranked when we used a dedicated Nose Tackle was 9th overall in the NFL. With Casey Hampton as a dedicated NT the Steelers had the top Defense in the NFL 6 of the 12 years he played. Don't tell me the game has changed that much that completely ignoring the Nose Tackle position isn't impacting this Defense in a major way! Especially when there is more focus on the running game in recent years!
King Henry is playing at the same weight Bettis played and the Steelers play him at least twice a year. Same with Perine for the Bungles at 240. Then the Steelers face a revenge game with Najee at 240lbs. Mongomery with the lions is 230lbs. There are six games on the schedule where the Steelers should have a big snack shore up the middle.

Watt has been at the top of the game for years, Father Time catches up to everyone
If you remember how quickly JJ went from best in the league to out of the league, its alarming to say the least.
Lets pray

Well Tomlin did say we would do something historical.
Don't ignore the contributions from the league's highest paid defense

Averaging 200 rush yards allowed over the past 3 games has to be historical.

417 total yards average in that span. that has to be a record as well.
