Maybe. But Higgins made plays all night too. So did #80. They just would have went there. It wasn't like they were covering those guys.I wouldn’t have entertained Ramsey on Chase. I would have doubled Chase the whole game. We can start there.
Poor doesn't begin to describe that performance by the defense tonight!Offense bounced back from two turnovers and did enough to win. Yet another poor performance by the defense. There are individually talented players, but it's a unit that depends on generating pressure and Watt/Herbig/Highsmith were invisible. On top of that, the defense needs a leader like Rodgers--Heyward has never been the type of leader who will not tolerate these types of performances.
It sucks to admit it, but it's obvious that TJ is on the backside of his prime. If the coaching staff doesnt find a way to get him in favorable matchups with in-game adjustments, this performance is going to become more and more of a regular occurrence.Mims made TJ look like a child tonight. Our D sucks against better than average QBs.
I would take my chances by taking away their best WR. What they did there would have them losing 9 out of ten times. It was just a painful watch. Coaches don’t get a pass on the trend that they show.Maybe. But Higgins made plays all night too. So did #80. They just would have went there. It wasn't like they were covering those guys.
I'm not arguing that. But tonight their guys just flat out beat our guys. I really don't know what else the coaches could have done. The pass rush couldn't win, either. We will NEVER sniff another SB so long as Omar Epps is the head coach of this team.
That is the very definition of coaching. Figuring out how to make adjustments when your players are struggling.I'm not arguing that. But tonight their guys just flat out beat our guys. I really don't know what else the coaches could have done. The pass rush couldn't win, either.
You are absolutely one hundred percent correct.Tomlin unleashed hell early this year… that’s what the problem is.
This team will never sniff a playoff win again until he’s gone
I know what you are saying, and it would have credence if they actually stopped the other guys. Everyone was open. The Bengals just would have gone somewhere else.I would take my chances by taking away their best WR. What they did there would have them losing 9 out of ten times. It was just a painful watch. Coaches don’t get a pass on the trend that they show.
Tomlin’s obsession with 2DL is ******* ludicrous. Is TJ Watt hurt? He was almost non-existent except for one play. Cam Heyward had a sack, but he looked fat and slow most of the night. I remember when Joel Steed's legs went. He was great one year, then gone. The game plan was complete **** on defense. Just let Chase and Higgins run free all night. I would rather see them get beaten in man-to-man coverage. At least you get to hammer them on the line. That was the softest coverage I have ever seen. *******.
His name is why he is here and why he was drafted when he was.Porter is not a starting corner in this league. His name is why he starts.
Again they can’t X and O their way out of a paper bag. This is an old old problem not a one game episode. Austin should be canned yesterday he is as bad as Canada. Just bad. And they can take the scheme with them.I know what you are saying, and it would have credence if they actually stopped the other guys. Everyone was open. The Bengals just would have gone somewhere else.
