Week 13 Buffalo at Steelers gameday thread

The season is over. Eff all the cliches and bullshit, they are trash. Play Howard and see what you got, Mason isn't even a backup in this league. Grandpa is done. Those 80's years were bad, buckle up, here it comes again.

On a scale of 1-10
How bad does this squad suck?
Ok lets play the Tomlin team traits game

-Plays overconservative offensive football in the first quarter- check
-Plays super soft coverage on long downs- check
-Cant stop the run because the front 7 scheme is ****-check
-Can't block because the blocking scheme is ****-check
-undisciplined- check
-bad fundamental tackling- check
-guys playing out of natural positions- check
-no halftime adjustments with the lead- check
-using less productive players over more productive guys... check

I mean its adecade and a half of some of this BS

Why do I get angry every time I see Kaleb Johnson?
I don't. Tomlin hasn't done anything right for years now....Johnson not being in Tomlin's favor is actually a plus....he just might be bucking the Tomln standard. No?

Funny thing is that given Rooney’s reluctance to fire coaches, when the job opens up it will be highly sought after. Regardless of current talent, or lack there of, on the roster.

He wasn’t picked on agenda. That is total bullshit. He was great coaching choice at the time. The Rooney rule doesn’t require hiring anyone. Only gets people interviews. He came in and did very well. He has just gotten stale and sadly, scared.
How many years was he a coordinator? What was the defense ranked that year and what was the passing defense ranked?

He wasn’t qualified.

I'm embarrassed being a Steeler fan tonight playing at home needing a must victory and we watched this. Tomlin looks like an old man that has lost his puppy. No leaders, how many unsportsmanlike penalties tonight. No leadership no stoppage when it was needed no plays when needed by offense. Heyward lost it tonight make a play please.

Yes. Think about this... nfl head coaches are paid better than top college coaches but typically have shorter careers... if you land here, you get the longterm security and the monster paycheck

Episode 6 of Things More Enjoyable Than Watching the Steelers

1. Walking barefoot in the dark to pick up Legos
2. Watching a Rosie O'Donnell sex tape
3. Watching Dylan Mulvaney learning to use a tampon
4. Taking a massive chug of milk left on the counter overnight to see if it turned
5. Showing up late for an IRS audit because you forgot about it and wound up doing shots until 15 minutes before the appointment
