lots of defense

Steelers D doing well without Watt and Herbig...having the big guy back in the middle is Huge

offense is offensive....

3rd and long is still scary

Highsmith was stuffing the runs to his side

Holy Hell how did Gainwell catch that ball??? and then alert enough to get up and score.

had some good runs in the 1st half but seemed to quit on the rushing game

is any team worse on 4th down????

wow second half the running game came alive...Warren with a huge day

Defense awesome in the 3rd....just as ****** in the 4th.....

Can not ******* believe the Steelers last drive...what the ****....and Boz even ***** up Holy hell

bullshit call on the 3rd and long pass...that ball was on the ground

can not believe how bad the defense was in the 4th quarter

can not believe that last play

4th OPI call of the game...two each way...big ******* call

no way the whistle shouldn't have been blown when he was pushed back 5 yards then threw the ball to goff...TD never should have happened...

Huge day for the run defense...15 total yards rushing by detroit

huge day rushing for the Steelers

back to back weeks where the defense totally stuffed the others teams offense in the 3rd quarter...could this mean there were half time adjustments??? No ******* way

This team refuses to make **** easy...but a win is a ******* win

The running backs were terrific today. Warren and Gainwell with big plays that put up points.

Scotty Miller stepped up when called upon. A few big catches.

With all the injuries and the rough start, the OL settled in and played well.

Our TEs gotta stay in bounds at the end of the game and they have to call a play to let Rodgers get out of the pocket to avoid a big loss of yardage on a sack at the end.

Boswell, bad snap or not, has to make that kick.

Ref show at the end was a complete joke. It looked sus and while the OPI was correct, the TD was not. Obvious foward progress was not called.

Huge win in a game basically everyone thought the Steelers would lose.

Really important and good win by the Steelers. One that I did not expect but they did a great job of shutting down the Lions potent rushing attack.
Now, please focus in on Cleveland next week and don’t let up.

How did it take Detroit to finally get a flg in the fourth quarter. This crew showed how bad the officiating continues. The last play all they needed was they call OPI no time on clock, no extra play was called on offense. The allow a player tackled pushed back five yard and not forward progress and give a TD signal. Really what a crew. Head official clueless on the Gainwell catch for a TD. Throw in Detroit last drive I don't think they had as many flags as thrown but ball moving was a catch. Tomlin why oh why do you stand there and not get explanations. Tomlin hugs Rogers really you should thank Warren he kept us in the game and as usual you have your favorites. Tomlin even pats Metcalf on head with his actions. Love the win but many issues on this defense. Bark away at me it is ok

That game is almost impossible to describe. The Steelers dominated the 3rd quarter like very few NFL teams have ever dominated a quarter, but scored just 5 points due to the Washington fumble.

Steelers were running the ball at will the 2nd half. The end of the game was brutal. The OPI calls played a huge role, as did the failure to overturn the completion on 3rd and 13. Ball hit the ground, dude.

Watt and Herbig being absent played a huge role in the 4th quarter defensive problems since the pass rushers were gassed. Those two are in the game, Detroit has no time to throw.

Oh, and the run defense? Wow.

Wow. Just Wow. This team is for real.
No TJ, no Herbig? No problem
The offense seems to finally be balanced. Rodgers and Smith did a good job being patient with it.
The Gainwell/Warren combination is just dominating.
The 3 veteran receivers made critical 1st downs. The end zone pass to MVS was just a c*nt hair off.
15 yards rushing to the leagues best rushing attack?
If CA3 has a hammy, don’t be surprised if Lazard is in Pittsburgh this week at least on the practice squad

Our D set the tone in the games first half. Stopping their O like that was key. As I don’t think we would have had the firepower to play from behind by a couple scores. When Detroit gets ahead they keep on being aggressive and run up the score. So,props on the D.

Slowly but surely I am starting to believe that Kenny Gainwell has been our best FA signing in our history. I’m quite sure he signed only for a year for minimum. There’s one big raise coming up by someone. He was a fifth round draft choice.

Our undrafted FA Jaylen Warren had himself a game…..for all the **** we give our coaching staff ,thank you for dumping Harris and having these two as our starters. Our OLine had a very good game.

Our O did next to nothing again in the first half until Gainwell brought them back from the dead late in the second quarter.

I thought Harmon, and Sawyer deserve a shout out.

When we were well into FG range on Chris’s missed FG attempt I was really hoping we would try and go for the jugular. I knew we wouldn’t and I can’t really blame Tomlin as it would have put us up by 8,I just wanted them to go for it for a change.

All in all a crazy game, that I’m sure 90% of us if we actually put money down thought we would lose. So good Job Steelers!

No coincidence when Harmon is in there the run defense automatically improves.
