The word is he called him the N word and his mother the C word. I have no reason to not believe DK. I know some will say he still should have handled it differently. I just think there is lines in life people shouldn’t cross and the fan was a POS. I hope the fan gets banned from the stadium…

I have a hard time believing that without some sort of context that shows what led up to such ridiculously aggressive comments. Maybe the guy was hammered or whatever, but unless there is some sort of sufficient evidence that this guy, in the presence of plenty of other people, used a slur towards DK which is the worst slur you can direct towards a person of color, and then apparently calls his mother about the worst insult you can direct at a woman, i'm going to remain skeptical. Seems a bit over the top
I think the fan had a jersey and lured him over then celebrated the outcome.
Hard to tell in a crowded stadium if anyone heard the interaction but I tend to believe it.
Players shouldn’t let fans provoke them…but I definitely believe the fan purposely went out of his way to instigate the situation.
..when I hear DK talk in videos he always comes across as intelligent and likable .
If I was a betting man from what I seen and read I wouldn’t dispute the reports.

I'm sure he is intelligent and likeable but he is and always has been volatile. They are never going to prove what someone said. He needs to move away from the source or have him removed.
Certainly can't condone the conduct, but if you look at the reaction of the girl sitting next to blue hair, she's squirming and moving away from the confrontation.

I still think the most shocking part was the lack of security. The team should have four guys spaced 10 yards apart. Anyone crosses a line (and they know the line ) stadium security gives them the boot. No discussion and those tix ain't cheap. I saw an elderly man in the background of the incident. That was about it. Pretty unbelievable.

turns out, from an article on another Steeler enthusiast website that shall not be named (rhymes with "feelers repot" lol), DK has a history with this dude, apparently got into it with him last season when the Seahawks played at Detroit.

Thanks for the other angle. When watching it live, it looked like Metcalf was pulling down on the guy's wig, and I was wondering how the hell it stayed on his head. You can see from the side view that he had grabbed his shirt.

A man was just acquitted of a stabbing CAUGHT ON VIDEO because the man he stabbed allegedly called him that AFTER HE STABBED HIM. All I'm saying is Ochostinko with his connections to current players said that's what he's heard. I remember the night of the Mason-Garrett incident Browns players in locker room interviews on ESPN saying Mason had said the word...that video is scrubbed from the internet.
We don't know if microphones or cell phones picked up the exchange between DK and the fan, but if they did then there is no comparison between both incidents. If there isn't audio then the two incidents are VERY similar...it's a he said, he said deal. And we should be careful just immediately taking DK's side.
