AFC North update

I believe it was Jackson dropped back to pass, fumbled the ball, grabbed it and took a step or two forward, Watt sacked him. They took it away saying Jackson was now a runner, thus tackle for loss, no sack. Not to mention they took a half sack away I believe on another call.
This, but it was Huntly, and he had two other sacks taken away earlier in the year as well. He had enough sacks taken away, that JJ Watt was on the media rounds questioning who was in charge of stat keeping...

If Green bay beat the Ravens, getting a free two weeks look at Howard us exactly what they should do. Mike Tomlin would never do that in a Million years
I've seen enough of Rudolph. 99% of us have. If this scenario comes to fruition, it's going to be torture watching him play instead of Howard.

I read that there’s a real possibility that Clayton Tune will be starting for GB as both Love and Willis are injured. If so, that changes things dramatically.

Rest or not to rest, the deeper “need rest” players could play a shortened Cleveland game.

the majority of the core players could rest the ravens game.

Someone said Will Howard………. I’ don’t think tom Lin goes the way of starting him. I’d like to see some of him though. At minimum maybe the whole 4th quarters.

I would play the starters limited time in cleveland then rest them for the Ravens.

My gameplan would be two run heavy games using two practice squad rbs...

If the Ravens lose Saturday, I would run the ball at Garrett all day, pass when we line up Washington on his stride with instructions to double him. Keep him from breaking the sack record against us. They gave him a half sack yesterday after the game was over, it’s such B.S., Allen fell near the goal line, Cleveland DT Graham scrambled from the ground clearly got to Allen first and was on him while Allen was still on the ground. Garrett like a lizard slithered over and touched Allen, the play was clearly over. They gave Graham the sack as it should have been. Changed it later to split the sack.
Go back and watch the tape again.
Garrett doesn't actually make contact.
He did indeed slither over and reach his hand out, but never actually made contact with Allen.
It's such garbage.

Wouldn’t be awful to give Kaleb Johnson a ton of reps and see what he can do as an actual workhorse back.

Agree, and I’d like to see Will Howard get a little work in, not necessarily start, but get some work in.

Of course he didn't, not sure why the league has a hard on for this guy, same thing the year he won DPOY, Watt lead him in every single stat, had 5 more sacks than him and we made the playoffs, and Garrett didn't have a sack or FF the final 6 or 7 games that year with the Browns trying to get a playoff spot, but the league felt he was the MVP???

Like the Ravens, the Packers can still win their division but would require them winning their last 2 games and the Bears losing their last 2.
Hopefully that would motivate them and get Love in the lineup if he's able to.
Lamar might not be able to go either.

All this won't matter if the Steelers put up a W against the stains.

True... though to be fair, he may as well be on the PS... he is way down in the doghouse after his ST screw up earlier this season
Is not just that, your 1-2 RB punch is working beyond effective. You couldn't take plays from these 2 guys when they are red hot

Yep and remember they took a sack away from Watt the year he tied Strahan, I think against Baltimore, I can't remember why they said it wasn't a sack but it was a ridiculous reason.
They said that because the qb was scrambling, he was a running back at the time of the tackle, and not a qb. It was ruled a tackle for loss, not a sack.

If Baltimore loses at GB we clinch, if that happens, I wouldn't throw a single pass in Cleveland, not let Garrett sniff a sack.
If the rats lose Saturday Howard should start and Rodgers and any vet in his mid 30s or older should be in street clothes, let’s see what the kid can do

Rudolph has played enough to be ready if called on, there’s no need to risk gettting him hurt either, and we need tape on Howard

I highly doubt that’s what Tomlin does, because that would be way too forward thinking for Mr only worry about the game in front of me

I would send in a scrub to sweep the leg on Garrett Cobra Kai style

I think they are past the doghouse incident.

I think tomlin has two veteran RBs and will run them till the wheels fall off.

Could be a chance the k.Johnson kid gets some work next 2 weeks.
