Somalis / Minnesota

…because nothing is gonna happen.

This has reached a point where indictments and arrests need to happen.
Hoping we haven't reached a point in this country where we're more worried about offending people than seeking justice.
that's offensive to @IndySteel

Seems that the current administration is changing the immigration eligibility of Somalis, that's for sure. How about we change the benefit eligibility for all immigrants - can't pay your way, don't come to the United States!
About 8 years ago I tried to get a work visa for Italy and they wouldn't give me one because I didn't have a bona fide job offer.
I had taken Italian class at the local community college and was reasonably fluent at the time.
I was in a catch-22 where I needed a job offer to get work visa but without a work visa it's hard to get a job offer.

Walz has dropped out of his race for re-election.

Speeding is not considered a crime, but a violation or infraction.
Otherwise every one of us would be criminals!

Regardless the point made still stands.

Tell that to the state trooper who pulls you over doing 125mph in a 65mph...lol.

But even at that speed Im sure he would tell you that you are being pulled over for a speeding violation, not a speeding crime.

Wrong.

Criminal speeding turns excessive speeding into a crime (misdemeanor or felony), not just a ticket, often for going 30+ mph over the limit or 100+ mph, leading to jail, heavy fines, mandatory court appearances, license suspension, and a criminal record, with penalties escalating for repeat offenses or causing accidents, and context (like school zones) increasing severity.

Rep LaMalfa R - CA, has died at the age of 65. The area he represents is reliably GOP, so the transition should be OK, but it is CA, so . . . .

I fear that there are too many creatures living in the swamp that it will never be drained.

Hope I'm wrong, but history dictates otherwise.
To stack one hundred billion ($100,000,000,000) one-dollar bills, you'd need a colossal space, creating a stack
over 6,700 miles high, far exceeding the altitude of the International Space Station, requiring storage equivalent to thousands of standard bank boxes or a massive warehouse, demonstrating an incomprehensible volume.
Here's a breakdown of the space required for a single stack:
  • Height: Approximately 6,786.6 miles (over 10,900 km).
  • Volume (if packed in standard boxes): A billion dollars in $100 bills needs about 33,333 boxes, so $100 billion would need around 3.3 million boxes, each holding $30,000.
  • Scale Comparison: This single stack is almost 28 times taller than the ISS's orbit!.

You learn something new every day!
And it makes sense. Thanks!
In all my years I’ve never heard the term “criminal speeding!”

@Tibs - he'd be talking to you if you were on this side of the pond, but since you're over yonder still spreading the vid to unsuspecting customers...
