John Harbaugh Fired

lol.

I just hope art has the same balls if we fail
I highly doubt it, not if we lose to the Texans and not if we would have lost to the Ravens and missed the playoffs.

My guess is John Harbaugh and the Ravens are both successful in the near future, sometimes a change of pace is needed for both sides

I hope you are wrong on both fronts, just not sure which I would hate more. My hate for all things Harbaughs is damn close to my hate for the Rats.

It was telling when Lamar didn't answer in his press conference what he thought about Hairball.

Harbaugh career record. 180-113
Playoffs: 13-11
Won SB 2012 season.
Regular season record not far off from Shades.
Playoff record better.
More recent SB.
Had Tyler Loop’s kick gone to the left, Harbaugh is still employed.
Bet Shades would have been too!

I think you gotta be careful the climate in which you fire the coach. This is NOT to infer the Steelers shouldn't move on from Tomlin. But in Baltimore there were the rumblings of the QB being unhappy with the coach and all that. Once players think they can run to the owner and get their way you could have problems.

93.7 The Fan also reporting that Harbs was fired.

What never seems to be mentioned is the impact of the Seattle Seahawks signing away Mike Macdonald as DC for Baltimore ,to their HC 2 years ago.

Macdonald turned around their defense his first year placing 3rd in the NFL which had been 19th the season before, then got it to the NFL best in his 2nd season , placing 1st in points against. When he left they dropped to ninth that season, and 18th this season.

Macdonald 1st season in Seattle Defense went from a ranking of 25th to 11th his first season and in his second season is now ranked #1 in the NFL 2025. All these figures are for points against by Pro Football Reference.

You could visually see how the Ravens defense went to **** after he left.

Coaching does matter. How this guy never gets mentioned for Coach of the Year is bizarre.

And yes,Harbaugh, like Mike Tomlin would have their pick of teams when let go. I still maintain it can be good for the club and the coach to have a change of scenery,at a certain point.
