Let me look..nope, this isn't on the protest agenda. The current status doesn't give any poltical points. It doesn't hurt the United States or the president.

Oh,do you think they actually care about anything? They stand for absolutely nothing. There's no real convictions on anything.

It should not have been in my opinion. Maybe I need better education on the world stage.

I get we want regime change. I getbwe have done so in the past. I just don't get thst if Iran's leader execute one of their citizens why we get involved

We don't need to get involved, but dropping off some small arms and ammo, I wouldn't mind at all.

Let those people fight for it.
 
Um.......the most powerful man in the world, Trump, is openly and frequently asking Iranians to protest. And has said, repeatedly, that the US would intervene if their were deaths.

Apparently the death count is about 12,000 or so in the past few days.

That is pretty perverse of the most powerful man in the world to offer military help, encourage people to engage, then sit back and do nothing, right? Recall that Trump bombed the fuucking **** out of Syrian leadership several years ago when they slaughtered their own people.

My guess is that he does something quickly, like bombing the shiit out of the Iranian leadership, to maintain credibility in his words and American pride in helping others. On the other hand, he hasn't done much else in Venezuela, either.
 
Lots of moving parts in the Middle East. Military dollars have poured into the ME and in turn made many extremely wealthy. If the Iranian govt is replaced by one that's more friendly to the West and Israel, the powers that be will need to find another corner of the Earth to have fighting that goes on forever but it'll be tough to find one that involves the transport of so much oil.... Coincidence much of that was set up after WWII? :)

Trump is personally closer to the Saudi Prince than Obama was. Trump signed a huge deal which i think is now worth 1 trillion dollars where we provide them with mostly defense, air craft, space capabilities, training etc etc. It's good money is coming into the country, but we are giving a not exactly trustworthy country high tech systems and equipment. Trump also has personal investments / real estate in Saudi Arabia.
