Americans gunned down in cold blood on the streets of Minneapolis at the hands of their own government. A presidency spreading unmitigated chaos and mayhem domestically, and around the world.

Those who continue to support this fascist, authoritarian regime conjure up those in Germany in the mid 30s who unwittingly ushered in the rise of the Third Reich.

There will be a heavy price to pay for members of this administration, Trump on down, and the bootlickers who continue to kneel in fealty to the belligerent, malevolent MAGA movement.

I pray that conservatives and Christians alike will finally awaken to the horrors of this presidency. May we turn to our better angels, individually, and collectively.

I pray that Democrats will stop encouraging citizens to physically interfere with legal law enforcement operations putting themselves and law enforcement officers in danger. I pray that our media and people like you will stop lying and pretending that enforcing our immigration laws is fascist. I pray that people will learn the difference between legal protest and illegal actions like blocking traffic, assaulting law enforcement officers, and vandalism. At the same time I am sad for the families of two people who were brainwashed into thinking that their personal opinions matter more than our laws or the safety of law enforcement officers trying to do the completely legal job they were hired to do.

Yes, may we turn to our better angels indeed.
