Seriously. Those numbers would be bad if it was the entire season. How many starts did he get? 4? 5? Wasn't more than that IIRC...You are right I hope they keep him as a starter for a long long time.
I stand corrected. He started 7 games.
I have no problem with them trying him out but the pro bowl?

Pro bowl has been a joke for a while. The whole process is garbage. At least they are consistent
It became even more meaningless with the moving it from Hawaii, to the states and before the Super Bowl.
Worthless.
There3 was a time where it actually meant something, but then GREED took over.

Definitely pretty much like the entire game in itself.
Longer seasons more injuries but hey we care about player safety honest!
No they care about lining their pockets not player safety.

At this point, why even have a Pro Bowl?
When I was young, the Pro Bowl was something the best players took pride in being nominated to and actually played in. These days, it's become a joke.
Sanders making the Pro Bowl shows just how far the game has fallen. The guy hasn't even proved he belongs in the league yet, let alone being nominated to the something that once represented you were one of the best in the league.
This might be the nail in the coffin.

I waiting for that time when someone realizes they can actually make it a 24 game season by splitting the season up, play 12 games take 2 months off and play 12 games do playoffs and SB start all over.
**** bet someone reads this and we will hear about it in the next few months.

Why does it seem people are afraid to say Shadeur sucks, because he does, he's never going to be great, or good. He couldn't even throw a spiral when we played there.
One would think they approached Rodgers and his response was most likely - F No

Shudder will be in the nfl a long time, probably as a backup....just like Kenny. But now people will add " probowler" to his name. BAM! Instant credibility. He has a few starts under his belt, just like Kenny, Davis Mills, and others. Just a brief experience taking snaps in a real nfl game and.....you are a qualified 2nd teamer.

I haven't watched a pro-bowl since the late 90's or early 2000s. More specifically, I watched the skills competitions leading up to the pro-bowl more so than the game itself.

Sanders certainly should not be in the probowl, but i would not say he sucks either. QBR is a terrible stat to go by. Sanders had one very good game. He also has games where guys dropped several perfect balls. I posted Eli Mannings rookie stats on here and they were awful. Peyton didn't have great stats either, but he at least flashed. I do not recall Eli looking good at all his rookie year. Obviously Eli ended up improving very quickly and might be borderline HOF. Hard to say what will happen with Sanders, but it is way too early to say he sucks
