If they haven't yet, wait until your daughter has a daughter. Oh, man. We were out to eat the other night with my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter and there were other little kids at the table next. All the sudden my granddaughter grabbed my neck and hugged me and goes, "My Pappy!"

Well, there really isn't anything else to accomplish after that...

And yes, I’m there. One of my daughters has two daughters…

My granddaughter is 8 months old, my first granddaughter, my oldest daughters first baby. There really is nothing like seeing that baby smile when you walk in the room.

It was with heart pounding anxiety watching my daughter compete against an opponent, some stranger you don’t know, that wants to kick the crap out of her. You go through roller coaster of emotions during these competitions.
She became a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Earned a room full of trophies.
Her excelling in track and field in high school and being a participant in the Sandhurst competition at West Point are another story.

Man I hate sounding like a braggart but when someone mentions daddy’s little girl….you started it Dino.
Talk about proud.
In 2019 on the 75th anniversary of D Day in Normandy she was the only female chosen to be a member of the parachute jump team during the reenactment.
President Trump was there to watch her.
It’s all gone now, only memories exist.
