Porter really trashed Ben calling him a bad teammate that wasn’t liked in the locker room.
Said he wasn’t a team player!
Porter is really attacking Ben’s character which I hope this crap doesn’t influence HOF voters next year.
Where the hell is Coryea when ya need him?

Is Coryea gonna go beat him up?

I think there's a big difference between young Ben (first 4-5 years) and older Ben. The young version seemed like someone who wouldn't be liked in the locker room by vets. That's JP's timeframe.

what was said that made Porter suddenly come out saying stuff 20 years later? Porter played 3 seasons with Ben. Ben might've been a bad teammate, but he sure has had a ton of former team mates come to HIS house to do an hour and a half long podcast.
Michael Jordan's teammates didn't like him.

Ya know Coryea, i I don’t recall Porter ever coming to Ben’s house to do his podcast.
Plenty of other former Steelers but don’t ever remember Porter being there.
Maybe Joey got his little feelings hurt!

I don’t believe Ben was ever a bad teammate but I do think it’s more to do with his off the field issues.
The motorcycle accident when he was cautioned that he shouldn’t be riding a motorcycle and had a lot to lose. Almost cost him his life.
The accusations from the woman in Vegas about Ben in the hotel room. Mind you, accusations only, never charged.
The Milledgeville, Ga incident in the bar with the girl and her accusations but he was never charged.
I think people tend to mix these things up with Ben being a bad teammate which is not correct.
He had a lot of friends on those teams and that doesn’t translate to being a bad teammate.

Ben was 29-11 during the seasons he played with Peezy.
I have no doubt Ben started thinking his **** didnt stink. He had the motorcycle accident and sexual assualt accusation in 2006 - the last season he and Peezy were teammates. That might impact how Peezy feels about Ben.

Peezy's one of our best LBs ever and Ben is inarguably top 2 of our best QBs ever. That doesn't mean they have to see eye to eye on everything.

I'd pay good money out of @CoolieMan's checking account to see @Coryea take on Peezy, though.

Joey doing what Joey does, runs his mouth and now he's out there bashing on anyone who even throws the slightest bit of shade on Tomlin's altar.

Talked to a Pittsburgh cop back when BB was younger. I mentioned he seems like a nice guy. The cop said, he had a few interactions with BB and he said he was very far from being a nice guy. Said he was a smug, self centered a-hole not nice to anyone. I am sure as he aged he mellowed out, plus he found religion and a wonderful wife, so what was once probably true, no longer is. Hopefully.

His dad even said he had issues. Became too big for his britches, not his words but appropriate. It Is what my grandfather would have said.
