i agree, why move to new location, what about all the EXISTING businesses that are established there and built because of the stadium location.

There is a no win situation when public tax dollars are used to benefit a monopoly such as the NFL. Let the league pay for the over runs of what the owner is paying, not the Joe & Jill tax payer who can’t even afford to go to a game.!!!

Salute the nation

Well, wouldn't they just build on the old three rivers site and get the same view? Bigger stadium = more revenue = Rooney's get wealthier. I mean, I guess it's better to line the Rooney's pockets with my tax dollars than some dumb **** Somalians in Minnesota.

Most of the area is developed now.

Amazing all the money the NFL generates and then they look at the little guy for $$$$$$. **** them!!!!

Rooney has stated they have no intention of moving. They love the north shore site and want to make the stadium last a lot longer. He realizes the value of the current location and the near impossibility of building a new one while occupying the current without moving. They will continue to improve the existing stadium for at least the next 10 to 20 years. By then I will be getting too old to care.

I would think one of the coolest things for out-of-town fans coming to Pittsburgh for a game is the stadium is right in the city. It makes the visit more authentic without driving another 30-60 minutes into the suburbs for a game. Factor in the riverfront parks, sailgating, and free public transit, it's a great location.

It would be great out near the Pittsburgh Airport. There’s a ton of land that would be ideal for traffic to get in/out right- traffic could be easier out here

Driving through two tunnels would be awful for anyone coming from the East. Would probably double the commute time. It'd be awful for anyone driving from the North Hills, probably tripling drive time on gamedays.

Yeah that Airport jaunt is double in distance for me. I think there is more for fans to do when comparing locations in the stadium and North shore areas. Always have liked stadium location.

As far as ideal for traffic well the Airport surrounding area in comparison dwarfs game day traffic by far. Close to three times the traffic amount.

I was reading up on it , I have a feeling adding stadium traffic and draft day traffic to it would be maddening on a Sparta level. You would get late to kickoffs missed flights and yinzers drawing swords.
