to break that down - there had to be a war already going on for that statement to be said, regardless of your definition of war.

thus, it should be easy - even for the marble smooth brained - to deduce that we are going to end a war/skirmish/activity that was already happening.

This is certainly a fair point, and given what Sarge said about multiple militaries being together with him at Ft Polk, this isn't a US/Israeli operation, but a free world operation to take down this evil.

One tragically funny quip I read somewhere recently was that "The US spent 2.3 Trillion and 20 years to replace the Taliban with the Taliban."

So, we're already looking at this in terms of weeks and it's over but what if Iran wants to keep sending drones or bleed us or harass shipping lanes? Time and geography is definitely on their side. We could bomb the NVA back to the peace talks, but still couldn't keep IndoChina from becoming Communist.

Another thing that bothers me a bit. Sinking an Iranian ship that was attending a festival in India and 2000 miles away from Iran has a Basra 1991 NWO Highway of Death feel to it -- or bloodlust as Tucker might say,

These are acts of War by the War Department which would be fine if we actually declared War. Obviously that ship sailed a long time ago with the Gulf of Tonkin, but shouldn't we vet and discuss these broad unilateral decisions more as a society before starting another war or police action?

This isn't what he ran on and it has fractured MAGA.
