2026 NFL Scouting Combine

Lance I have been pimping in some of my mocks, thought I would throw this out there.

If they double up at the position I hope they do:

That 10 Yard split and broad jump mmm.
Hey. Bryce Lance is my off the radar pick. Choose someone else to pimp!
KC Concepcion first.

An all WR draft except for the safety from Oregon. I am so sick and tired about WR’s,draft 5 of them. And get rid of our little pip squeak Austin. He’s done nothing.

because its simply retarded. Its not angst... its wtf. Worse than george pickens standing in front of his tv with his balaclava on.

KC had some drop concerns if I remember correctly. No problem with you getting first dibs pimps on Bryce. 😅

maybe the lights were in his eyes??? , he should wear eye black when he's up there next time :ROFLMAO:

I got the impression they were referring to him tanking private team meetings, not his public presser.

If this tweet from a Jets insider is true, you can't draft this guy because he's straight up crazy.

the comments at the site not to be named,,, are all like nothing is wrong...

am i crazy? I wouldnt touch him after this.

He could easily have smiled and said good question and stood straight up and and said the exact same thing. And i would be all in.

i am 90% sure that was a text exaggerated for comedic or sarcastic reasons... though if it did happen, he probably just was trying to fit in with the team culture there... you know... piss and failure

If you go by the formal meetings the FO had at the combine, WR is top priority, with CB/Safety closely behind. After that it's DL and QB. Not much of anything anywhere else.

Pro day visits will help, but it could be if they plan to bolster the OL, it won't be thru the draft.

Always interested in finding translatable metrics from college to the NFL. Here’s one that highlights two potential potential first-round WRs in a negative way.

I like Boston's size and vice grip hands but he just doesn't look fluid on tape and was not surprised he didn't test at the combine. I thought he'd at least run the 40 but he didn't even do that. They know being "slow" will drop their stock and prefer the pro day when times may be more forgiving. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops out of the 1st altogether. I still think he goes high to mid 2nd.
I think YPRR is Yards per Route Run, so I would expect KC to have a small number as they tried to get him the ball quickly and use his quickness. Not sure why Boston's would be so low unless the CBs are really playing off in zone and its an easy recep.
I know KC had a good combine catching the ball, but does that erase the 9 or 10% drop rate he had? If one thing translates, you would think reliable hands would. Not saying no WR has ever improved, but if a team has options (esp at 21), that would have to move them down the board imo.

I wanted Jonathan Mingo BAD that year in the 3rd. I think he went in the 2nd. Three years in and only 61 recs for 610 yds. Shows you what I know :ROFLMAO:

i DONT understand the nuances that make a receiver good or not,,, speed, run route, get off ball, catch ball, try to run some more.

So other that those things.. how do these all world receivers fail? How does hines ward make good.?

They need to be able to rest coverages the same way a QB does, so if coverage is saying break out, both the WR and QB read the out. It's understanding how to set up the DB for the route, he's playing outside leverage, but you need inside leverage, and you need to break him down.

Yes there are times the WR just lines up and runs one specific route no matter what, but it's few and far between.

Finding holes in zone defenses and/or when the initial play breaks down is solid gold for a WR. Hines could do it, Tone could do it, AB could do it. Travis Kelce made a HOF career out of it.
