Mock it - 7 rounder

Go big or go home, and I am NOT going home, people! My incredible 2026 draft:

2027 ARI 1st
2027 WAS 1st
2027 ARI 2nd
2027 ATL 2nd
2027 WAS 2nd
2027 ATL 3rd
2027 NYG 6th

Yes, okay, I did not get any players but boo-ya, three 1st round, four 2nd round, and two 3rd round picks in 2027!!

P.S. I hope the 2027 draft is really good ...

I like it.

When you have a glut of draft picks, the sage plans are to either package picks to move up in positions of need or trade for future picks where often you can get a pick around 1 round higher in exchange for a current one..

If you are hell bent on bringing in a ton of players, double up on positions that are deep

Nearly every draft has one or two positions saturated with talent and others where the top pick at a position wouldn't be a second or sometimes even a third in other drafts... if they drafted a couple wrs and ignored QB this draft, it would be ok...
I completely agree and would do the same. Mock drafts aren't even that fun with this many picks because sometimes it's hard to find players.

Yep. Every single mock draft I try and deal the multitude of 7th round picks for a 5th round pick in 2027.

Lemon a very solid WR prospect, superior route-runner, will be slot starter week 1. Another decent WR later, two very physical CB's and a very big S who combines quickness with physicality. I went LBer early just because watching the ILBer suckage has become tedious. The OG probably starts in 2026 as well.

Okay, this mock takes into account that the Steelers really need an ILBer, WR, OG, and S and the fact that the WR position is pretty deep, the ILB position is definitely not. The guy who fits the need the best and is the best player to run the Mike is Rodriguez, but he is not worth a pick at 21 so I made deals designed to increase 2027 draft stock and get him. Pregnon is an excellent G prospect with elite size, arm length, and experience. However, no safety worth a higher pick available since Downs is long-gone by 21 and Kilgore did not make it to 85. Took a few decent flyers on later round guys.

Doubled up on DL with two very large humans with huge wingspans that fit DE for Steelers. Tripled up on WR since Fields and Caldwell are big guys with decent speed so what the hell. The extra 2nd and 3rd round picks in 2027 mean a ton in stockpiling high-end picks to get a QB. Steelers are now in a position to deal their #1, a #2 and 2028 #1 to move way up and get their QB.

I would rather just mock you SoOp.

You are silly and ignorant.
