I didn’t realize McCarthy brought in Gabe Nwosu. The guy is almost Darnell Washington lining up for punter. I watched this guy in a couple of PSU games and this kid can boom and is accurate. He could probably punt it backed up on the 1 to Sewickley.
Johnston may be a cut again (though he may be consistent). Nwosu can kick in crappy conditions unlike Presley Harvin could. Corliss Waitman seemed to struggle in the cold as well.

I thought Johnston was the more consistent punter when he was cut, but Waitman was just booming the ball in preseason. Always good to have a punter or two in the pipeline if there's an injury.

He punts. They can teach him to fake punt and then run it. Put Washington out front blocking.

The past Super Bowl Micheal Dickson had what I thought was the best punting game in the history of the NFL. Which is weird for me to say,but if you ever rewatch the game the guy was unreal. Our very own luxury car coach wanted to draft him in the 5th round I believe. We all laughed and poo,pooed him. He was right.

Waitman's problem was he was outkicking his coverage. Like @Tim Steelersfan with any woman he's ever dated.
So a 60-yard punt with a 15 yard return would net just 45 or so. Which wasn't ideal. Long and high so the return team doesn't have a chance to return it, is ideal.

He also wanted to Draft Michael Turk as a punter. He isnt in the NFL.
