Pens 25-26 thread

If they would have gotten their head out of their *** a game sooner, the pens win that series.

Hopefully the canes can close it out. They've yet to lose any game 7-0 thus far,so they're due one.

Nobody has ever swept 16-0 in my lifetime.
The line I saw had the Pens winning in 6.

Unfortunately they didn't figure it out until game 4.

They also go no production from the guys who had been scoring a lot on the third and fourth lines.

They got shutout in 2 games. You definitely can't win if you don't score.

Which means they need to make some personnel changes, depending on what type of game they can play well.

They have skill, but no speed and turn the puck over on stupid stuff.

It will be interesting to see which direction they're planning to go.

I do see them keeping Geno for one more year, but Letang needs to retire. He's become a greater liability than help to the team.

Everytime I think Letang should retire he puts together a string of good games. I thought he actually played pretty good in that series against Philly. He was one of the more physical players and kept the stupid stuff to a tolerable level

Canes tied it at 1 then scored the go ahead goal 20 seconds later but was negated for goaltender interference. Regardless, the game is tied and Carolina has all the momentum again

& at home in front of their drunk, street dedicating fans.
I saw a Canes fan in the stands. She was a thin blonde thing. I hope the people of Philly treated her well.

I don't care about the Canes, but they have looked like THE team for a long time to me. Just glad the Flyers went down in shameful fashion.
They are definitely a strong well rounded team that seems in tune with what everyone is doing on the ice every minute of the game. You don't see many unforced errors like our, drop the puck off to the opposing player ploy while skating towards the net. ;). They just shoot it and the the chips fall. Looks pretty simple and no nonsense actually.

They also don't appear to be looking to instigate fights but if the other team wants to go that route they will oblige without backing down but you didn't see them get suckered in to retaliation after a penalty was called on the Flyers.

Mr Anderson is also playing lights out. He's seeing and stopping just about everything.

I hope they can win it all this year

I've been picking them since a few weeks before the season ended.

Doucement, Paisan un match à la fois.
I know my friend..
But they are looking damn impressive… and the Canadians have always been my second favorite hockey team.,

Those great teams of the 70s is what turned me on to be interested in hockey..

Go Habs!
