It appears we finally have a WR Room that will need to be accounted for on the field of play.

DK has some good things to say for veteran and references to rookie camp.

It’s a good view, worth the time.

I would like to see them add one more vet. They really only have DK and Pittman as experienced. Sure would help solidly that room IMO.

They'll pick up a wiley veteran near the end of camp.

I’ve got no issues with adding a vet, but not at the expense of Bernard’s reps and development. If Bernard is close to a vet in level Bernard should play IMO. If Rodgers pushes for a vet WR to play, as he usually does, someone should tell him to muzzle it if Bernard or another young guy are worthy

We shouldn’t be fooled to think this team is a Super Bowl contender, play the kids if they are close to a vet and build

Look how far the Rodger’s “vet” got us last season.

Germi will surpass that easily.!!!

Thanks for the clip DIC, good stuff. I also like the Dean mention, after the initial signing, its impact has flown under the radar. He’s the best number two corner we’ve had in a long time albeit Pierre’s play late last season was really good. “If” Dean stays healthy (Porter too) it’s really going to be a boost to our pass rush as was mentioned in the audio. I also think our rush defense with a healthy Harmon and off season additions will be stout.

Only thing that concerns me is the play of our ILBs, they’ll benefit from a better dl but their ability to cover tight ends etc. may get exploited as well as our safeties against deeper patterns. I still think we’re going to see a vast improvement defensively this year.

I do think the WR room is better but think the real issue may be with Father Time at QB.
The guy won’t take hits but will unload the ball quick to avoid hits. He has no escapability any longer and is pretty much a sitting duck.

So scared to take a hit he’ll Chuck the ball on the ground to divert the defender’s attention and brace himself for contact with the ground.

But sure, run that **** back
An exciting brand of football indeed

Speaking of wide receivers, JuJu got married to a blond girl the other day. I remember when RG3 married a blond. She set him up and cleaned him out.

The run blocking from the top 3 (IF GM starts in the slot) is going to be something to behold. The difference between many 10-20 yard runs and long TDs is the blocking of the WRs.

Sometimes 1 plus 1 equals 3. Last year we had DK and ........and..........and........and.........and........just think of GB and Pittman over Austin and MVS/Thielen/Miller.......OMG that's so much better for a 2 and 3.......it makes DK better and then you have scheme which Rodgers was familiar with for 13 years for God's sake.......between the 1,2,3 this year vs last, modern scheme vs ASmith, and familiarity of scheme for Rodgers vs learning a new one last year I think it's night and day. The line should give them more time as well which also makes everything better and how about the scheme in regard to TEs? Muth was invisible in a system that was supposed to favor Tight Ends. I think the key is injuries. I don't think they need another receiver if they don't have injury issues. I wouldn't say they are loaded but they have the makings of a top 10 offense, top 15 at the very least if injuries don't bite.

I'll further say I think Tomlins mentality was keep the score low and do enough on offense, limiting mistakes to win the game. I don't think McCarthy thinks that way. I think he wants to be explosive on offense and be tough on defense. I get if you control the ball through the run, and play tough D you don't have to be aggressive on O to win but a lot of things have to go right to win consistently and when you have a style like that the problem is that unless you have an all time D, when you face a juggernaut O, if you have been implementing this philosophy all year you aren't prepared to outscore that opponnent and you get creamed when playing the Bills or the Chiefs. I think McCarthy understands the relationship between D and O and how they play off of one another (he's a pro coach after all) but I think he's gonna game plan to be aggressive on O and let the D do their thing. When you play both sides of the ball aggressively you have the opportunity to have multiple blow out games and to me that's the problem.you had with Tomlin......the O was too conservative or the D was too conservative or you had both playing conservative. Smash them in the mouth on D and go for first downs and points rather than focusing on the clock....besides first downs are the key to controlling the clock anyway which is why I think we see more first down throws that are more than just f-ing screens.
