Mike McCarthy Press Conferences

If I said fine I’m sorry. I meant exceptional. In rhythm without pressure his footwork and accuracy was exemplary. When the pocket broke down or he had to move off his point it went to hell.
If you somehow believe that Allar was "exceptional" in any capacity, including un-pressured throws from the pocket, I suggest that you re-watch the FIU (ranked #117 in the country in pass defense) and Villanova (an FCS opponent) games in greater detail. He threw off of his back foot several times even when there was no need to, and let's just say that his accuracy was something less than exemplary.

Not that but I've learned to swirl the wine and take a huge sniff before I take a sip first!

I learn you Neanderthals sooner or later!!!
Oh sheet you are a high end wine drinker.

I never learned that grace since the military. It is open mouth and funnel it down. 😄

No Neanderthal here, back in the O’l days it was Boone’s Farm, Annie Green Springs Peach Creek, and the world famous Mad Dog 20/20.

Salute the nation

Mitch throws off his back foot. People don't like him. Mahommes throws off his back foot. He gets paid top money.

If Allar or Howard throw off the back foot dump them.

Others known to throw off the back foot: Mayfield, Young, and Murray.

I get it. Didn't know you were a pro bowler.
I'm certainly not a pro, but I could technically get a PBA card. There are guys that can average 240 in leagues and not make it on the tour. I would like to try a pba regional at some point, but i don't have the arsenal to do that. Pros get balls for free and some are literally drilling 10 new balls per tournament along with what whatever else they have.
As for Allar it seems they made a very minor tweak according to MM. Hopefully he puts in the work and it pans out

Wow, averaging 240 a game is just crazy. My best was 173 back in the day. Always had trouble with that ten pin.

I think they need to start with a minor tweak with Allar and go from there. Can't try to change too much all at once.

lt would make the PBA so much more interesting if the bowlers had 10 min to find a ball on the shelf at the alleys like the rest of us. Kind of like the old helmet dash at the speedways. But yeah balls from 8lb to 18, different size holes etc

I always felt Allar was at his best when he stepped into his throw and let it rip, so to speak. It always seemed like he was trying to aim the ball instead of just throwing it.

This year the scores have been insane on tour after 12+ qualifying games guys who made the tv show were averaging 240 for several events
