2026 Steelers Schedule

bye seems a week late:

I think they should fly to Paris right after Tampa if the nfl allows them. I think a team tried to go early last year and the NFL said no. If they fly back to Pitt the night after the game it should not effect them too much for the Browns game. It is still crappy, but I don't think it will be a huge issue.

We got royally f'd with not getting the bye after an international game. I thought that was a given (if not, it should be in the CBA). I guess when the Steelers are concerned, ol' Rog puts the screws to us at every opportunity.

Twenty two consecutive non losing seasons I have a strong feeling this comes to an end in 2026.
Rough schedule and uncertainty at the most critical position, QB. What could possibly go wrong?
Even if Rodgers comes back he’s not going to get better from last season only continue to decline.
Rodgers decides to not come back then you ride with Mason and Will Howard against this schedule and this could get even uglier.
Team needs a reset whether Rooney wants to accept that or not and it could happen this year.
I would like to see what Howard can do with some playing time this year. Maybe by season’s end and they’re out of it, allow Allar to finish out the last couple games. Allows you to see what you have in the two young guys and if you need to take another shot at the 2027 draft which has some talented QBs coming out.

I will change my tune when the season starts, but I want 1 losing season.
I want a chance at so real blue-chip players in next year daft

I have zero clue what a MM Steeler team will do, which beats the heck out of KNOWING an incoming 10-7 and WC blowout is coming soon to a theater near you.

Could be 6-11
Could be 12-5
Most of that hinging on QB play
As long as we take steps towards actually solidifying what we have at the QB position year 1 of MM will be beneficial

But one thing I can guarantee… the NfL will screw the Steelers any way possible when it comes to scheduling

I don't know how anyone looks at that schedule and see's any more than 5 or 6 wins.....

Does the NFL purposely make the Steelers schedule hell every year on purpose?

10-11 wins minimum. It is easier than some we have had. If We have AAron. With a rookie or Howard 7-8 wins.

This team will be completely different than the team Tomlin would field. Its probably not wise to predict wins when we don't know who will play qb, and how the defense will play.

Podcasters , in their infinite wisdom, predict 8 to 10 wins.

Yeah they are silly predicting W or Ls with a team not knowing who their day 1 starting quarterback will be..

Far better and deeper oline coaching.
For me it is just QB play. That will largely determine outcome this season. I think everything else is pretty stocked for the most part. I like Graham and his ability to mask scheme. I like Mike’s X and O ability. I think top to bottom the roster has solid depth minus QB question marks.

Completely agree. Even if Rodgers comes back and plays the same as last year, I do think the Steelers could potentially have a worse record with arguably better talent. I just don't see McCarthy muddying up games like Tomlin would. We have a higher ceiling with McCarthy but also a lower floor.

It's a 1st place schedule.
Beating the ravens last year in the last game was awesome. Until this year

There is so much parity in the league with about 20-24 teams that are 7-10 to 10-7 worthy.

There are a few really bad teams that will struggle
to get to 4-6 wins and a few really good teams that are bonafide title contenders.

It sure would be nice for the Steelers to get on that latter grouping of actual title contenders.

With a QB there could actually be hope, hope is a helluva drug. At least now we have a HC that could help make that happen.

Pass that hope, I need another hit

I wouldn't call a schedule against three of the four worst divisions (AFC South, NFC South and AFC North) in the NFL hell. And I'm being kind in suggesting the AFC North may only be fourth worst, and not third worst as I am assuming the Bengals won't be as bad as they were last year and the NFC East will be as bad as they were last year, which may not be a valid assumption given the Cowboys had a great draft and the regime change at the Giants.

i think they should just go and not ask. What is nfl going to do,, Make them fly home? Cancel the game?

Whom they play and who is the home team is just an equation based on where teams finish and what year it is... now what order they play them in and what time and day of the week are where the league screws them.. along with stupid neutral site games

Best case, they get a long look at Allar and finish with a high draft pick. If he's awful, draft your QB. If he's great, do whatever it takes to draft Jeremiah Smith.
