Iran

There's the point.

The uni-party has made too many think that they are on the right side of history, and the others are on the wrong side, when in fact all are being lead down a crap path. We need a complete cleansing of the scum in DC. I doubt it will happen, and so the nation will rot.

I’m not going to defend Trump on this. What he is doing is wrong, and if any other president had done the same thing, especially a democrat, this place would be on fire. But I’m also not going to pretend that the Clintons weren’t DEEPLY involved in pay to play, and so was Biden to a lesser extent. It was wrong then and it’s wrong now.

There has been a ton of corruption throughout various administrations, congresses and even the judiciary. Until we get the money out of it, corruption will always exist.
Sarge I agree with you a hundred percent, I deleted the other post because I thought I was quoting Trog also. But I am not defending Trump in what he is doing either, it's mind blowing how blatant this **** has gotten and the Don doesn't even try to hide it.

My biggest problem by far with this morass in Iran is that it is exactly the OPPOSITE of what Trump promised and what we voted for. He said the war in Iraq was a disaster and a tragic mistake, he said no more endless wars and no more Middle East wars - and he starts a war with Iran?

If Israel has some problem with Iran, let them deal with it. Not our issue.
What we don't know, well, I certainly don't know at least, is this another weapons of mass destruction hoax, or was (is) Iran close to having a nuclear device? I suspect it's the latter and have no doubt they'd be crazy enough to use it.

Ignoring it once again would not be in anyone's best interest.

Sure, but the fact we have been told for 10 years that Iran is "close to developing a nuclear weapon," and the fact that we supposedly destroyed their nuclear weapon capability in June of 2025, makes me doubt the current claims.

Until we get a constitutional convention, nothing changes. It will get worse and that option will soon be impossible to get.

Half assing it with a country who's been screaming death to America for 47+ years is stupid.

As I said before, arm the Iranians and let them fight for their own freedom. I feel for them, but we have done enough.

Trump needs to focus on the home front. This crap is costing all of us at the pump. Better start producing our own to the point of being 100% self sufficient.

All this is going to do is get our commies demoncrats in control again. They'll be hell bent on ******* **** up.

It will be interesting to see how badly we &^%$ up this "deal". I would love to be wrong. Anything short of regime change will not be winning. That's just my opinion.

Iran keeps the dust. Iran gets some frozen assets. America allows boats to pass the strait and dock, and undock Iranian ports. Iran will likely still charge fees.

What did Trump get? Egg on face. He knocked out air and sea power but he didn't meet the original objective.

I could see a lot of shipping staying away from that area and finding new shipping routes. It might cost more but they steer clear of Iranian riff raff. Prices will stay high.

On the flip side we have been hearing how many times now that a resolution was basically in place only to have one side or the other reject it. As stated by the administration the main objective was preventing them from making a nuclear weapon. Anything short of uranium removal is a fail. Regime change should have been the real goal then everything else would have fallen into place

Trump doesn't want to kill all the people or the industries/ infrastructure. Everyone in the world would hate him.

Xi told Trump he wants oil. No oil, no precious metals for America. Trump backs down and looks weak.

This skirmish will go on for a while.....until a Democrat is in office. Then Iran will be open for business and bullying like never before.

Or Trump made a deal in China, China told Iran it's place, and now Iran is slowly getting in line with US/Chinese deal.

Wait, no regime change?

I'm so disappointed. Look at the amazing amazingness of regime change in Libya, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Egypt.
