The sentence is 35 years and as Supe noted, Texas law mandates he serve at least 50% of that, or 17.5 years.

Of course, Texas law can be changed by electing a few more Dindu proponents so there's that.

If a 17 year old black boy killed another black boy with a knife it would not have been a national story and just another weekend in Chicago. If a 17 year old white boy killed a 17 year old black boy it would have been 50X the story this one was and the blacks would be saying the white boy got off easy with 35 years and he wouldn't make it through his sentence and cities would be on fire.
 
I saw they actually arrested one of them that was pissing on Metcalf's headstone. how much of a piece of **** do you have to be to do something like that.

the Blacks that are pushing attacking kids and old people are going to start a war that will end up with them back in chains if they don't stop ******* around. The sad part is I believe the mass majority of blacks are good people, and these thug pfuckers are going to get the rest of them caught up in a race war they can not win.

I used the word black because I have not seen any other race talking about attacking white kids or the white elderly. believe me I think there are bad actors of every race, but when you are verbally or physically aiming all your violent rage towards one particular race. I'm gonna call it as I see it. I'm more Native American than white and I'm sick of it.

I also do not see any other race of people shouting for reparations or a race war. yeah I get it slavery was bad but it wasn't anything compared to what my people went thru.
