Iran

We basically started a war to get back to where we were under Obama. Iran gets eased sanctions, assests unfrozen, and joint control of the straight. We get the pinky promise of no nuclear weapons and "inspections." We have heard this story before....

Iran will wait. When AOC gets elected they will be enriching uranium to their hearts content.

proof of this or are you speculating?

I think expectations were that the population was going to rise up and cast off their oppressive government. Maybe all the protests around Christmas were just for show. Who knows. I can state that I had hoped the Iranians would have used the opportunity to change things up. So there's no doubt we'll not be vacationing in Iran anytime in our lifetimes. Which is too bad. I hear they have some really good skiing.

Hard to say since Trump said he was not interested in regime change. If that is the case then I don't know why we bombed the meeting originally. Seemed to give the people some false hope. I can't really blame the people for not rising up since Trump stated he "largely left the military alone." The IRGC still seemed pretty organized and in control I think it would have been a blood bath if the civilians attempted anything

I don't know, but I'm not blaming Trump on this. It was the best chance for real change since 79. Just disappointed that the ***** that took our people hostage and led to the deaths/injuries of those attempting to rescue them are still in charge. The fact that Congress and people like you, Flog and Tibs didn't have the internal fortitude to at least support it pisses me off to no boundary. A buddy of mine lost the use of his legs in that crash and he then killed himself so it hits close to home.

I supported true change, not some half *** waste of time / assets / money. We are basically back to square one. I have stated numerous times that regime change should have been a main priority. We got backed into a corner and Trump caved. Trump is not to blame for the Iran regime but he clearly stated numerous times he was not attempting to change the regime so im not sure what you are supporting exactly. We could have got this current agreement without the bombing as we were in talks when we started dropping bombs. At best Iran will behave long enough for trump's term to end and it's a crap shoot whether the agreement will stand with the next pres.

Unlike some here, I'm not part of the inner circle in the oval office, so I'll take a wait and see approach, after all does anyone believe that the IRGC will uphold any part of the perceived agreement? Will it be a tail between the legs for the USA or is there still something in the works that we're not privy to, nor should we be. Those that are dead sure how this will play out are naive at best.

Meanwhile, China is chugging thru their oil reserves, by 1-3 million barrels a day, and the US siege of Iran has allowed control of much of the fungible oil in the world. The IRGC has no funding, and Trump, unlike Bomma and Potato, is hardly likely to loosen up cash without a substantial return.

Grow a pair and declare it won’t happen.
They didn't consult me either. I don't know what will happen.

I have stated many times

Didn't want this "war" to happen
Once in the only way to truly win is regime change

Give Iran back to its people.( no I can't answer as to how as I am a poster on a message board like most of you )

If they get a commitment that Iran will stop trying to build a Nuke that is at least better than it was before the "war"
