I was at a doctor’s appointment and a gentleman said nice shirt (Steelers attire). I said thank you and asked him if he was a fan. He replied yes and a long time fan. I asked what he thought of the new coaching and he said what?????? We got a new coach, who did we get? I realized with-in a very short moment he was as casual Adam as you can find.
I told him Mike McCarthy and his wife blipped up with you will like him for about 2 seconds, then hate him. Turns out she like the Packers and casual fan, she continued ripping McCarthy. She provided very little factual information.
I chose to show them dignity and respect but cut the conversation very short as Neither could contribute anything of knowledge / value.
I choose to show respect to any team fan regardless of knowledge, but also demand that respect in return. Should they decide to go the disrespectful route, my intensity is driving by the degree of theirs………… but I usually win in the end. I can speak the degree of language that they can hear………….
As for cheatriot fans, there is NO respect shown by me other than human decency. They are easy prey and hardly ever know jack-**** about their own team. ONE exception, there was this one lady who is the nicest lady ever. She runs a child daycare center and is very well liked by the kids and parents. She is a charm socially, until the cheatriots are invovled. She is a total jack-*** in fandom (knows very little), will leave early once her team starts to lose, spews the unasked when winning, rub it in your face the everyone else cheats…… ect. Ect. Ect..
The only thing she has in her favor is her massive boobs, they are amazing!!!
How do you approach the “FAN” whether pro or con, Steelers or other ???
