Degree of excitement…………….

It’s the off-season, what’s can I say,

I have noticed many here are asking for more news / better articles / anything team Steelers.

That is a good indication that excitement is being generated and people are taking notice.

I’m not looking for a coaching bash, but what would be your degree of excitement involving our beloved STEELERS.!!!

My level of excitement is sky-rocket in comparison to the last decade or so.

The new coaching & staff/ agressive draft / owner appears on board / things lining up “Spirit-World-Wise, what more do we need…??

Every year at this time it's 20-0 and man, that URFA from SE Oklahoma A&M will definitely make the final 53.

I follow steelers all year. I was sick and tired of tomlins act. My off-season excitement level would be a 4 on a scale of 10. But this year, new coaching and new players, my excitement level is 10. I want to see them play first myself rather than listen to a podcast speculate if new guy is any good.

Current level = 10

It’s exciting for me this season do to so many changes and finally being rid of the albatross that weighed this organization down for years.
Although not a big McCarthy fan I do recognize that it is change and I’m excited to see what he can bring to the organization.
I will admit that I was suffering from TFS (Tomlin Fatigue Syndrome) for years but I’m better now and hope Big Mike can turn this thing around and get us on the right path.

I am excited that there is new across the board. Nothing motivates players like uncertainty. Gets those varsity vets sharping their stones, turning over all the rocks. Thoroughly looking over the blades of grass…. When they paint the barn they will use a spay gun and not a broad brush…..obviously.

Good or bad the season will at least be more interesting. We knew what we were going to get with Tomlin now we have no idea.

Not to bash either but how excited could you be since Mason Duck when Tomlin has this epiphany that he had found the cheat code to winning 17-16 every week and proud of it. Excitement is still way tempered but we've at least got to be a little better on offense this year.

I'd say 90 degrees. I'm not pulling a full 180 until I see what schemes and packages are used on both sides of the ball. I'm much less pessimistic than I have been the last five or six years. I was never a McCarthy fan but his presser, emotional as it was, I saw a man who fulfilled his dream much like Bill Cowher did many moons ago. I have hope that Mike finds a better version of himself here in the Burgh.
