Those polls, are absolute tripe. My old cell number was owned by a democrat and I would get polling calls and texts all the time. The moment I answered they would ask me to rate Obama or whomever they were polling about on some scale and when I went to the low end of the scale, they would abruptly end the poll and tell me to have a nice day.

Excellent point, I have to admit that I'm swayed somewhat by polls that I agree with, it's just human nature.
While I do believe the majority of Americans want the SAVE Act passed, I do question the 80%.

i saw where Pocahantas was saying there were already laws on the books to prevent illegals from voting. Which is true. Just as there have been laws on the books for civil rights, yet they keep trying to pass newly worded laws for the same old laws.

There are marketing polls that get released via media to direct the narrative of those who scripted the poll, internal political polls that are only seen by inner circles, most of the time, and a very few actually independent polls that are probably far less independent than they used to be.

So don't trust or mistrust all polls. Think of how/why they are positioned, and that gives you the information you need to assess any poll's value to you.

This is very similar to listening to media yap about the Steelers too.

I would think by now most adults know that polls, for the most part, are driven by the organization asking and phrasing the questions.
This is true whether it's FOX or in this case CNN conducting the poll.

The only poll that counts is the one held on the first Tuesday in November every other year, and even then, only if secured.

Yet so many here continue to hold onto some sliver of hope & rationality, thinking he's doing "some things" well while "failing miserably" at everything else. I don't particularly like him, I was never given a better option, and thankfully he can't run again. Trump is only President for 2 more years and a couple months. Enjoy it! I don't know what y'all are going to do with all of your hate and rage after he's gone.
