CMT Doing the rounds.

Tomlin is a Steeler legend. I hope the Tomlin hate stops now. As Steeler Nation we need to treat our own with respect. His last few years didn't have any playoff success, but he was still a great coach and more imortantly, he's a Steeler.
I hear you.
Depending on how the Steelers look in 26 he will either be hailed a hero or villian.
Losing season, best coach ever.
Playoff run, worst coach ever.

I have nothing against Tomlin. His time was over here and props to him for knowing it.
I hope he gets back into coaching for the sole reason of getting draft picks for him.
Depending on who you listen to that ship may have already sailed.

His "Steelers Greatness" is only because of his longevity and the one SB. Had he had the "no losing seasons" and one SB win in five or seven years, it would have been much better. His stubborn nonsense was a very, very old act.

I wish him well. I am VERY glad he is gone, and think he left 10+ years too late.

He'll do great on TV and I've moved on from him as head coach, but it was more than a "few years" without playoff success. No matter his status in Steeers' history, he earned the criticism for the playoff drought. Now that he's gone, the expectation is for McCarthy to break the streak and it'll be disappointing if he doesn't. It was the reason they hired a veteran coach.

I can't see him coaching again unless he truly hires out the scheming and is a CEO set the tone kind of coach.

If they move the Jags to London, then he can go and do the Ted Lasso thing as the Jags front man.
