Did anyone tell Trump that renaming Lake Ontario wouldn’t necessarily exclude Canada?

America isn’t exclusively the United States. There’s North America which includes Canada. Theres also Central, and South America.

From that perspective you can say that Lake America would represent both Canada and the US.

The principle of renaming everything from military bases to mountain ranges remains valid until Donald Trump names something.

Personally, I think Lake America is political theater, and pretty funny political theater at that. Canada is perfectly free to keep calling it Lake Ontario. Nobody is confiscating their maps.
