Kaleb Johnson Traded to the Packers

Mute points are usually expressed in sign language or writing
While moot points are beaten like a dead horse on the interwebs
Ol girl loves to throw me mute points , usually involving sign language. That one little pinky finger saluting me. Bless her sweet heart.

I watched a video from a Dallas fan who was showing Kaleb going practice and talking how good he will be.

In the fan’s next breath he was talking how lucky the where to get Juno Smith too!!!!

I could care not, but if both those guys suddenly become producers……….. Tomlin will continue his sink.

No. Why would I compare a prehistoric offensive scheme that doesn't believe in the forward pass with a high-flying offensive attack that features two elite talents at receiver?

exactly. Pickens would have lost his mind in Pittsburgh last year running a bunch of curls. Lamb missed a bunch of games last year too. Maybe if it's week 5 and Lamb has twice as many targets Pickens will need Broderick Jones to calm him down. I wouldn't be surprised if that's part of why Dallas wanted Brod.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Pickens to DK? Still a downgrade, but stats were comparable to what Pickens was putting up for the Steelers.
CAIII to Pittman was a huge upgrade.
You're right, typo. This is a breakdown for 2025 stats vs cost.
Kahn paid 48 million to downgrade the room.
2025
Pickens 1429 yds 9 TD 3.6 million
Metcalf 850 yds 6 td 35 million

Pittman 784 yds 7 td 18 million
Austin 372 yds 3 td 1.2 million

Pickens/Austin 1801yd 12 TD 4.8 million

Metcalf/Pittman 1634yd 13 TD 53 million

Didn't you just do that with Austin though?

Pickens wasn't putting up 1429 and 9 TDs if he was in Pittsburgh last season.

Never compared stats. Pittman is a flatout better WR than Austin, a legit WR2. Austin is probably a below average WR3 at best.

I am sorry. I thought your original post has stats in it. Nevermind.

So you account Pittmans contract this year but Pickens' previous year salary?
How does that math works?

Even if Picken's put up equal yards last year, It was a fail of epic proportions
Pittman is much better than Austin but he's not a #1, a good #2 isn't worth the 24 million he's making in 2026. That's WR1 $$

I was being fair
All salaries were from 2025.
Pittman is making 24 million in 2026.

lol Pittman is not making WR1 money. Those guys are making over $40 million now.

Pickens quit on his team multiple times. They had to move him. Obviously would have loved to get more.

Regardless of money, I feel the Steelers have improve3d the WR room considerably as opposed to last season.

Found a #2 WR who replaces a #3.5-4 WR, big upgrade right there.

Bernie over Wilson is a upgrade.

I’m excited to see this WR-crew in action !

I am sure both of our guys each top 1200 yards with at least 10 tds this season. Get it done AAron.

Does anyone think the Cryboys got a diamond when they got Juno Smith ?

I guess I should check and see if he made the roster, but I have a Cryboy fan talking hamburger about they acquired Kaleb and Juno as if they were both pro-bowlers and ex-Steelers players so they must be something great.

I just nodded and said yes, giving him as much NON-attention as possible.

If you didn't use stats.. how did you compare one player to another then? Then you throw in our system into the equation......you bash players that played in our system but elevate the player($) we traded for who played in a different system before coming here. Make it make sense? Player$ we traded for you say are better than the player we had. Why? Better stats........but you didn't use stats I thought or system perhaps? 🤔 what criteria did you use exactly? Head size?
