Steelers Atlanta pregame comments: Falcons starting QB revealed:

Hopefully we see an aggressive D at times ...attacking from different areas.....at times.....moving players around ......at times.......perhaps. Maybe we are at a different time of times😬?......Sunday will give us the answer? I suppose.🤔
Hopefully the O-line shows up and the defense can stop the run?
I bet they come to regret cutting Elandon Roberts vs Atlanta run game. Tall order stopping Robinson, just hope he doesn't go for 150 and 2

If Cooper Rush gets 3 seconds to make a throw, he’ll be ok. Probably better than Tua. All he needs to do is manage the game.

*sigh*

Yes, I get it, new coaching staff. But I cannot simply toss off 19 years of conditioning and I still expect a #3 QB, hell a guy pulled out of the stands, to light up the defense for 300 yards and multiple TD's.

I hope that changes Sunday but the never-ending examples of just that occurring makes me hold back on any optimism.

Same here. Mine goes beyond the 19 years when Bill Cowhers teams would lose to Kelly Holcomb and flash and the pan quarterbacks as well. To me, that carried into the Minecraft Mike era. I hope those days are over. Hopefully the pass rush can get into Cooper’s head early and often and gives him the spooks the whole game

Wonder if we will actually see our all of our high paid OLBers on the field at the same time.....maybe do something different than rushing 4 players straight up the field....over and over and over.....again....and again.....and again.🤔

I'd rather see Tua as well, but to call it a loss becase Rush is playihg instead before the game even starts is quite the stretch. These ain't Mike Tomlin's Steelers.
I didn't say its a loss. Im saying its a can't win. You beat the brakes off them you beat no one. You find a way to lose.......oh boy.

There is only one way they can lose this game - if they let Bijan go off. Under the previous administration that would be much more likely, as they would be preparing for nameless, gray faces. Hopefully Graham is smart enough to scheme to stop this guy.

It counts the same as the other 16

If in week 18 we have a one game lead to take the division (a very plausible scenario) this win is going to seem very important.

First game of a new HC’s time is impossible to be a “can’t win” imho

Im not looking for 10-7 not really a contender. Im looking for can this team stand toe to toe with the bigs in AFC and league in general. I dont think this will reveal anything unless they suck and squeek by or worse.....lose.

But they still have the game tomorrow to win to make any of those later matches relevant.

Im not saying the game is irrelevant. Im saying I hate these kinda games that are basically a have to or you are a joke.
Agreed. Fundamentally sound teams win these games most of the time.

We shall see.

Only thing about this game Id say is no question in my mind if this was any of the at least 10 years this game would absolutely be closer then it should be.
That part will be interesting.

I will take a SB in any way. But that seems improbable.
Man, your're like fingerails on a chalk board, lol. I think yes I'm plenty sure I was 100% joking about the prospects playing a 3rd stringer. Do some research on
"figure of speech."

Just glad I never have to watch a game with you. Best of luck if we win tomorrow and you sulk around the house mumbling "didn't beat anybody".

Muted
