I bought a Blackstone flat top grill. We are having brunch before the game. Pancakes, sausage, thick cut bacon, breakfast hashbrowns and eggs and some leftover striploin.

I’m not making a thing. Not today. MIGHT throw some burgers on the grill or stick a frozen pizza in the oven. Cooked a lot yesterday. No mood for it today.

I've made tacos, Philly cheese steak, and everything but the noodles for Vietnamese bowls. Oh and of course smash burgers. We had a big flat top meal once a week in summer

Smash burgers are really something in bipartisan to a regular burger.

I’ve taken a 12-bun King Hawaii buns and made a giant smash burger to cover all 12 at once, toppings as your want, then cut into single sliders…………….. good stuff.

I do this thing every year where I make food based on what is popular with who we play.
Today is hot chicken, collard greens and peach cobbler.
We are boiling peanuts for duribg the game.

Brunch sandwiches. Asiago cheese bagels with bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese on them. Will also have a few sauces to put on or dip in.

Probably hot wings at a nearby sports bar since Josh Pray, aka Fake Coach Tomlin, will be appearing in person. I live literally 2 miles away.
Oddly, the name of said sports bar is The Standard.

Morning game here. I’m lazy today. Drank too much red wine last night,now my head is groggy. Think I’ll do the everything bagels with peanut butter. Or if I get really ambitious……quacker oats with blackberries and peaches on top.

Past few years for each and every Steelers game, with a few notable exceptions, my wife bakes hand-made pizzas from scratch.

There are are some fine, authentic Italian restaurants near us, but I swear her pizza is as good as any. Seeing her knead the dough, set it aside to let it rise, then crush garlic and prepare the sauce, has become part of the pregame ritual, culminating in a hot, crisp pie straight out of the oven, topped with basil & hot peppers.

Looking forward to the 2026 iteration of the Pittsburgh Steelers take the field, finally! Home opener, baby. Let's get this thing get started off on the right foot.

Mrs. Fan, her mom, and I are skipping church and heading to the local sports bar. I plan to violate every good food decision I have made for years, piling on the biscuits and gravy, eggs, hash browns (they have to be brown. Hash whites are icky!), and iced tea.

This does not match up well with Berm's observation about colons, above.

gonna be a weird food day at warriors. steamed shrimp, wings, and burritos. no drinking for warriors today except for cream soda and water.

I made wings yesterday on the smoker for the Penn State game. My wife makes a homemade wing sauce that is pretty damn good. Ate a pile of wings yesterday.
