The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

That “you all” loathe and fear?
What about you?
Yeah, I loathe Communism and Communists, as my entire family has been fighting them for generations. I don't *fear* Communists, in the sense of the Red Scare con-job Trump is pulling. It's rhetorical gymnastics and fearmongering. Curious to how you view this most recent turn towards authoritarianism by an American president banning journalists and news organizations who aren't to his liking? Seems like maybe we have a Constitution in place that would protect free speech, or is that a thing of the past at this point?

He still doesn’t believe that the Democratic Socialists of America are actually socialists.

Lolz, you mean the mighty Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) with all of 120,000 members? What threat exactly do they pose to America, to the Republic, to free market capitalism, to the pillars of American democracy, governance, and way of life?

LGBTQRS are a tiny fraction of the population. They changed the landscape of the entire country if not the entire planet. Squeaky wheels n'at.

It was probably all of 100 whack jobs 10 years ago and their numbers are higher. Look at any college campus these days and many of the protests in cities are sponsored by the DSA now. They're actively on the rise and getting a free pass by the media so that means they are cool with it

Hell NYC's mayor is part of that group. What more do we need as evidence?

Well, they seem to be winning primaries against so-called traditional Democrats. And the more young people reach voting age, the more members they’ll gain. You know you don’t have to be a member to vote for them, right? After all, you supposedly lean conservative yet vote for nothing but democrats. Lolz.

I'll vote for any Republican who stands up to Trump, and shows even a modicum of sanity and reason, as opposed to MAGA sycophants and the unhinged far-left.

Well, they seem to be winning primaries against so-called traditional Democrats.

I think there is a distinct, vast difference in what you guys call "Communism" and what actual Communism is, at least in my understanding.

I mean good ol' Bernie Sanders has some real lefty, democratic socialist concepts of governance, but all of it falls well short of Communism. Most of the lefties in the Dem party fall in this same category, like AOC, Mamdani, etc. They're pushing for more liberal, socially conscious policies, a different distribution of federal and state funds, eg more to education, health care, lowering taxes for working class, etc. None of that is anything close to what classical Soviet Union Marxism and Communism is. But I think you guys know that, it's just a fun moniker to use... to throw at liberals and Dems, that they're COMMUNISTS! It's no different than calling extreme GOP policies Fascist. Even MAGA hardliners - I don't think - want to recreate the Third Reich in America. I think this is where some of the misunderstanding comes from, for whatever it's worth.

Of course that won't keep anyone around here from calling those even slightly critical of Trump a card-carrying communist. Let the modern-day Red Scare commence.

Thomas Massie, MTG? Go ahead and consult Albert Ianstien for a response.

Yeah, it's not an extensive list, is it? Hopefully more and more Republicans come to their senses, and the GOP returns to its roots, rising from the ashes of whatever is left of it after this Trump/MAGA debacle is mercifully over.

No there's a bunch more who have been run over, including my representative from a few years ago. The moose out front should have told you but, heck, I can't keep up with Hungarian politics either.

I've lost faith in the guy, I should have known better, he's just another modern day President and high profile politician (they're all full of ****) but I also don't like when **** is said and there's no substance. I also don't care much for Putin but maybe we can use this as an opportunity for you to enlighten the unwashed masses as to how Trump licked Putin's balls? I'm sure you know that's an open question in one of the other threads.

Yeah, I'm not here to jump through hoops for you. If you don't have a grasp of Trump's unwavering subservience to Putin over the years, I can't help you. Maybe google it, read up on it.

And too bad you don't follow Hungarian politics. That nation rose up against a Trump-like as*hat in Orban, and kicked him to the curb in a historical, unprecedented landslide election. Another bullsh*t politician like Trump, hiding behind faux Christian nationalism only to run the most shady and corrupt government on the continent. It took forever to get there, but at least that regime is gone. Hopefully we'll see the same stateside, and America can return to normalcy.

You're the one who made the statement, Tibor. Give me something to validate your credibility as to your statement.

If you told me that the Challenger exploded due to a bird strike, I'd be able to prove that it was due to the o-rings and should never have been launched until temperatures moderated but due to political pressure, it was.

So give me one example, please. If you can't, no problem. Just own up to it. After all your crooks and liars are no better than the ones on the other side of the aisle. (I've given up on politics and don't accept responsibility for non Democrats 🤣

**** it, I'm not voting anymore and am now following George's advice

So give me one example, please.

Ok, here is one example.

Donald Trump's uniquely accommodating posture toward Vladimir Putin:

Diplomatic Summits & Geopolitical Strategy
  • The 2025 Alaska Summit: On August 15, 2025, Trump hosted Putin at Joint Base Elmendorf–Richardson in Anchorage, completely excluding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from the talks. Trump backed away from an initial threat of "severe consequences" if Putin didn't agree to a ceasefire, emerged declaring a "10 out of 10" success, and subsequently shifted the onus onto Ukraine to cede territory to achieve peace.
  • The 2018 Helsinki Summit: During a joint press conference, Trump publicly sided with Putin over his own U.S. intelligence agencies regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election. He told the world: "President Putin says it's not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be."
  • Constant Attacks on NATO: Trump frequently degraded the Western alliance, threatening to leave NATO or withhold defense guarantees from European allies. Critics note this rhetoric directly advanced Putin's primary geopolitical goal of splintering Western security unity.
  • Withholding Ukraine Military Aid (2019): Trump froze roughly $400 million in congressionally approved defensive aid to Ukraine to pressure Zelenskyy into launching a political investigation against Joe Biden, an act that triggered his first impeachment.
  • The Syrian Troop Withdrawal (2019): Trump abruptly ordered U.S. troops to abandon northern Syria, leaving Kurdish allies vulnerable and leaving a security vacuum that allowed Russian forces to immediately occupy former U.S. bases and expand their Middle Eastern footprint.

Corporate & Real Estate Financial Ties
  • "Money Pouring In" from Russia: In 2008, Donald Trump Jr. explicitly admitted to a real estate conference that traditional U.S. banking streams were replaced by Russian cash, stating: "Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."
  • Luxury Real Estate Influx: Investigations have tracked tens of millions of dollars flowing directly from former Soviet bloc oligarchs and Russian elites who purchased units in Trump-branded properties (such as Trump Tower and Trump projects in Florida), frequently utilizing anonymous shell companies and buying at highly inflated prices.
  • Golf Course Financing Claims: In 2014, golf author James Dodson stated that Eric Trump explicitly told him the family was bypassing American banks for golf construction because, "We have all the funding we need out of Russia."

Russian Organized Crime & Proximity
  • The Bayrock Group & Felix Sater: Trump collaborated with the Bayrock Group to construct the Trump SoHo hotel. Bayrock executive Felix Sater—a Russian-born businessman and convicted mafia-linked stock fraudster—actively worked to build a "Trump Tower Moscow" during the 2016 campaign, explicitly emailing that he could get Putin's inner circle to help Trump win the presidency.
  • The Trump Tower Gambling Ring (2013): The FBI dismantled a massive, high-stakes illegal gambling and money-laundering network operated by Russian mob boss Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov. The criminal enterprise was run directly out of an apartment inside Trump Tower, just three floors beneath Trump's personal residence.

Family Connections & Recent Scandals
  • Donald Trump Jr.’s 2026 Wedding Funding: A major ProPublica investigation revealed that Umar Kremlev, a powerful Russian oligarch deeply embedded in Putin's political orbit, secretly bankrolled hundreds of thousands of dollars in luxury accommodation, private island rentals, and beachside events for Donald Trump Jr.'s May 2026 Bahamas wedding.

Rhetorical Praise of Vladimir Putin
  • Praising the 2022 Invasion: Days after Russia launched its full-scale assault on Ukraine in February 2022, Trump publicly praised Putin’s aggressive strategy of declaring separatist regions independent as "genius" and "savvy."
  • Defending Putin’s Record: Throughout his political career, Trump has consistently defended Putin against human rights abuses and the assassinations of political rivals, famously answering an interviewer's prompt about Putin being a "killer" by stating, "There are a lot of killers. You think our country's so innocent?"

The fact that they were non-existent 5-10 years ago. The fact that they now are taking seats, even mayoral seats in major US cities.

Infections start with one or two patients, before spreading to 10 or 100, before infecting a population. You must understand this, having been JohnyCovidAppleseed in Hungaristan, right?

I don't have a grasp of that. So you want me to Google something that you stated... Wasn't Google one of the big tech platforms that shut Trump down? Eliminated his Freedom of Speech?

Again, I think the guy is an A number one prick and has done more harm than good this second term but I am so tired of hearing unsubstantiated bullshit just vomited up and there's no substance behind it
You are a lot closer to Russia than I am, please give me an example of how Trump has been an ally to Putin

Ok. Thanks Tibor. It's 10:47 in the PM here and I'm getting ready to crash. How about I take a look at this tomorrow. Can you list your references before I start reading it?
