My view from afar is that most senior US politicians have been disappointing for decades. How is Boehner, Bomma, Pelosi, Cheney, Bush, Holder etc. really anything but a continued flow of disappointment, mistrust and cronyism?

He's talking about the House of Representatives and taking over for Boehner. Nobody asked him about AG or any other federal government jobs. He's clearly talking about SOTH.

Dude, we'll get you in, even if it takes a few phone calls to the higher ups, but we'll get you in. Just can't promise you they'll let you back out... unless you're a Syrian, then you're on the next train to Berlin or Oslo, which isn't such a bad thing... ;)

What a **** up.

In my opinion, this explains why we need term limits. The cronies that are career politicians have made the process so difficult and complex that unless you have 10 years in the system you don't amount to ****. We need to get rid of that mentality and make public service a "service" again and not a "career".

I would change Congress terms from 2 years to 3 years. I would put a max term limit of 2 terms for president (8 years), 4 terms for the house (12 years) and 2 terms for senate (12 years). That's enough ******* time to get done what you want. And if you don't shame on you.
