We won the elections! Just wanted to share my happiness with the steeler family.
The people have spoken. This is a new beginning, all my adult life I've been living under a communist government that has systematically destroyed the country. No more

Haven't read anything about it today. I will check it out.

Congratulations.

Venezuela election: Maduro's Socialists trounced

The opposition in Venezuela has won a majority of seats in the National Assembly, overturning nearly two decades of dominance by the Socialists of President Nicolas Maduro.

It is the worst-ever defeat by the leftist movement founded by former leader Hugo Chavez in 1999.

Venezuela's opposition won control of the National Assembly by a landslide, trouncing the ruling party and altering the balance of power after almost 17 years of socialist rule.

Obama's corrupt regime weeps in sympathy for the loss

in fact the USS George Washington was in international waters just outside of Venezuelan north shore monitoring the situation, as rumors say trying to listen to any militar info on radio t ocheck for possible faul play against the opposition. It probably played an important role for the military to accept the landslided results in our favor.

So in fact Obama did help us a little

I'm not saying it's for the good or bad, but the BIGGEST change to Europe because of the Syrian refugee crisis will have nothing to do with the Syrian refugees.

It will be the shifting of Europe politics to more right-wing ideology.

P.S. And congrats Litos on a successful election and hopefully peaceful transition. Maybe US-Venezuela relationships and diplomacy will increase.

The refugee crisis will be a large part of the reason for any shift right I believe.

Isn't it ironic that as the Canuckistanis and we are sliding toward the proven to fail Marxist, socialist ideology even as those who have proven and witnessed its failure reject it?

Quit speaking ill of the 47% you racist.

Congrats Litos! I am always amazed at how long it takes for people to realize the errors of their ways. Looks like the people of Venezuela realized their mistake much quicker than many other countries.

I guess people got tired of food and fuel shortages.

Artificially low prices will do that. Although my friend's husband in Miami is a yacht captain and he loved buying fuel in Venezuela because diesel was 37 cents a gallon.
