Super Bowl 50 game thread.

Did Manning break Bens record of worst QB rating of a super bowl winning QB?

Ouch nevermind I looked it up Ben has a 22.6 rating

Took Scam Newton two weeks more than I expected to show what he was. If he is MVP, I have to laugh. And can anyone change the movie name to blindsided. What a ****** turn style Oher was.

Well, the other candidate was Carson Palmer. I don't need to say any more.

Thing is Ben played better than Manning did. Period. Manning was literally there just for the ride.

I think that is debateable, but I cant remember. Ben had 2 turnovers and completed 9/21 passes for 123 yards.
Peyton had one turnover and completed 13/23 for 141.

Both were very poor regardless

I thought Peyton had a few fumbles lost? I forget.

What a lousy game all around. And cam was right, I ain't never seen a big guy like that be afraid to get a friggen fumble right in front of him. Some superman.

It was like it was a piece of kriptonite(spelling) or something.

It was not a very enjoyable game, at least for me.

The Pats weren't healthy 2 weeks ago. I think it would have been the best chance we ever had to come out of there with a win.
Brady and Bellicheck against Tomlin and our defense, LMFAO , they hang 40 on us. Edelman and Amendola would still be running wide open. We have no LBs that can rush the passer and the worst Cbs in the league plus a substandard coach.

Then you need to drink more

I didn't drink a thing, and I believe I'm kind of glad. I just sat at home and watched it all by myself. I thought it would be more entertaining.

Didn't Ben Score a rushing TD. but really, who cares. they were both Super Champions at the end. who really gives a ****. only you guys would ***** over winning a championship. who cares how many yards or tds or turnovers they had. there World Champions

Just saw Cam Newton act like a ten year old at the presser. Walked out on it like a child. Very unprofessional. Gotta take the good with the bad. Didn't seem to mind the cameras fixed on him all week when everyone was kissing his ***.

Cam held the ball because his receivers weren't open. The pressure got there quick, and Carolina doesn't run the sort of quick passing game that can offset that. You can't just throw the ball if no one is open. This is one of the reasons Ben took such a beating under Arians. Ben still likes to go deep, but the short passing game is much better now, and Ben isn't hit nearly as much. Carolina needs to upgrade their receiving corps. Getting Benjamin back will help, but they need more. Cotchery was horrible. The bobble play was a bad call, but he put himself in position to get screwed by not catching it cleanly, and the pass he dropped on the sideline may have cost them 7 points. That's a possible swing of 14 points because he didn't catch the ball.

Cam air-mailed quite a few throws which is normal for him. He always did struggle with accuracy. Denver did have good coverage but Cam did have guys open

Cam also just walked off his press conference. It's why i don't like him. He's Mr fun and games when it's going great and he wants all the praise, but let it go wrong for him and he acts like a child. He wanted no part of diving for a fumble at the end of the game either.

Yep but fumbles dont count as passer rate nor does bens rush td in that game

I never said his passer rating was better. I said he played better.

I did appreciate seeing a good defense by Denver. Defense wins championships. But the game overall was draggy and boring

Typical thug Newton behavior. Are we scared of him yet ?

Did they do the " I'm going to Disneyworld" with the MVP commercial this year? I didn't see it if they did.

Heard both the TV and radio Super Bowl announcers say that Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak is the first head coach to win a Super Bowl for the team he played for. 1985 called, Mike Ditka is on line one.
