Tomlin post game..

It's been done before, remember the "we Dey " locker room rant by 'the chin' ?

That being said, I have always believed that AB is a full grown man with a 13 year old mind. Nobody with any maturity past JR High acts like an idiot that consistently. Thank the stars that he's a very talented numbskull, cause earning a living without his physical talent would be challenging indeed.

This video was also done when the locker room was open to the media - notice all the flashing cameras, and looks like it was professionally done, and released. Look at the editing.

AB's video was really a video of him Doug ing something totally unrelated, while the coach was talking.

It took six pages for someone to post the crux of the matter. For all the people saying, "oh it's no big deal, Tomlin didn't really say anything inflammatory, that is not the issue. THIS is the problem!

AB's behavior shows a complete and utter disregard for his teammates, and especially his coach. As one of the veterans on the team (and one of the ones with playoff/SB experience), he should have been one of the ones talking to his teammates. Instead, he is off mugging for the camera, and posting it to social media.

This video is so telling of the state of the team. It does not pint a rosy picture. Who's in charge here?

Well AB wasn't giving the post game speech, Tomlin was. AB was looking at himself on his phone while getting excited about how many views he has.
So I'd say Tomlin is in charge.

We are in the AFC championship game and people are trying to spin this into a "Tomlin doesn't have control of his locker room" smh. This all about Brown being a ********. And all will be forgiven if he goes out and torches the Patriots and we win

Here's an opinion about why he was a dumb ***....

Haha as much as I agree with Sharpe in that video, does anyone remember his spouting off about "all the problems" the Steelers had with the Ravens? Cowher didn't appreciate that much, then a few years later they are on the NFL pregame show together.....

Add to the list of Tomlin's duties as HC:

Take attendance after every game to make sure everyone is off their phones and present. After all, he's dealing with grown men.

There is always a way for it to be Tomlin's fault, regardless of his success, he simply must be perfect in all aspects of everything, or he ought to be fired.

There may be a few exceptions, but I don't believe anyone has a problem whatsoever with what came out of Mike Tomlin's mouth. The issue is that I'm sure it was not intended for public consumption, which is where our diva wide receiver enters stage right.

i fully agree with that, but now it's out there, we need to own it. I prefer our private locker room talks be just that, but it's been leaked. We have to put up now, which I like.

Yep I agree. We need to own it. Being nice and turning the other cheek like we don't ******* hate them hasn't worked one bit. **** the Patriots. They are cheating ********.

man, I hope this is the time we kick their dicks in the dirt. We have owed them an *** beating for so long. This needs to be the game! Tired of being respectful and throwing butterfly kisses around to Lord Brady and Captain Hoodie.

I say we get Peezy to walk up and punch someone during pregame warmups.

Paul Zeise: Mike Tomlin calling out the Patriots is great
January 16, 2017 1:01 PM
By Paul Zeise / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Mike Tomlin proved Sunday night that he is no different than roughly 89.8 percent of the population of the world based on my very unscientific polling data.

It turns out that Tomlin, too, hates the Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and the Patriots.

We know this to be true because Steelers star receiver Antonio Brown and part-time amateur videographer gave us a look inside a locker room with one of his Facebook Live videos and accidentally caught Tomlin screaming mean things about the Patriots.

“We spotted those a******* a day and a half,” Tomlin said in the locker room video. “They played yesterday. Our game was moved to tonight. We gonna touch down at 4 o’clock in the f****** morning. So be it. We’ll be ready for that a**. But you ain’t gotta tell them we coming.”

I don’t like this at all for Tomlin, Brown and the Steelers.

No, I LOVE IT.

I have issue with the Patriots, Belichick, Brady and homers in the Boston media who have already turned this into something just south of Tomlin committing some sort of crime. Here is one example from last night, and I’ve seen and heard others already. Apparently the sensitivities of some who cover that team have been offended because Tomlin, in a moment that was supposed to be private and with his team, had the audacity to say in so many words, “We ain’t scared of them, no matter how many ways you tell us we are supposed to be.”

To be honest, this video gave us a lot of insight into what has worked so well for Tomlin, why his message has resonated so well with his players and why he is so popular with them — and maybe even why he keeps a controversial, yet extremely fiery, coach on his staff in Joey Porter.

Terry Bradshaw calls Tomlin “a cheerleader,” but I don’t. I say he sets the tone for his team every day with his attitude of “We’re the Pittsburgh Steelers, and we don’t give a damn who you are.”

The X’s and O’s are important to winning football games, and as we have found out in the playoffs, so are the Jimmies and the Joes. But if you don’t have a coach players believe in and know he has their back, your team isn’t going to win.

Tomlin has no problem setting a high standard for his players. He has no problem getting after them, but he also is excellent when it comes to giving them a pat on the back when they’ve earned it. He has harbored an atmosphere of guys who play with no fear at all.

That’s why they can win games like Sunday in Kansas City. It wasn’t about their talent because they didn’t play very well, but their resolve, their fight, their “never-say-die” attitude has given them the goods to grind through games like that and come out on top.

That starts with Tomlin, and that’s why he is such a good coach. To revisit a conversation from a few weeks ago, if he wins these next two games he moves a lot closer to the category of great coach than he’s ever been before.

Brady is the best ever, though right now Aaron Rodgers is playing at a higher level. Belichick has won six AFC title games, and I guess it’s fair to add “by hook or by crook.” So if the Steelers go up to Foxboro, Mass., and lose, it won’t be because of this “bulletin board” material. It will be because the Patriots are great — the NFL’s greatest dynasty — are at home and play a better game.

This is the AFC championship. The winner gets to go to the Super Bowl, and for the Patriots duo of Belichick and Brady, one more Super Bowl win puts them in a category no other duo — not Noll/Bradshaw, not Walsh/Montana — has ever been: five-time Super Bowl champs.

Time is running out on this dynasty, given Brady’s age. This may very well be their last and best shot to win the Super Bowl, especially since the one team I didn’t think they could handle physically — Dallas — is already out of it.

Bottom line, the Patriots are plenty motivated to win, and the only way Brown’s video will even be talked about is if they win because that’s how it works with bulletin board material.

Heck, was Tomlin’s speech that much different than this? The next year, by the way, Jimmy Johnson, with whom Tomlin shares many of the same passionate and motivational characteristics, guaranteed a win against the 49ers in the NFC title game, and then the 49ers went out and pounded the Cowboys. That was the first time in my life I realized “bulletin board material” is extremely overrated and something the media needs to get hyped for a big game a lot more than players and coaches do.

Brown’s video was unfortunate because it was from the locker room and behind closed doors in a place that is supposed to be a sanctuary for players and coaches to speak their minds without anyone watching. But it isn’t a big deal, and more importantly, if Steelers fans who watched that don’t like Tomlin even more today than yesterday, I’m not sure I can help. He is clearly all in, will make sure his team is ready to go and isn’t backing down to anyone — even the vaunted Patriots

Damn Ryan Clark just blasted AB. Truth be told, I felt the same way as I watched Antonio's FB video stream live last night. I kept thinking, wtf are you doing? Put the phone down and join your teammates, you dipshit. Love his abilities on the field though, for whatever it's worth.

Ryan Clark on Antonio Brown: ‘He’s So Self Absorbed’

Click link for video.

“He’s so self-absorbed,” Clark said of Brown. “He’s so about what he’s doing, he’s so about Antonio Brown that it’s not that he’s missing the message that coach is giving, its that he genuinely does not care that the message is being given. He’s so involved in his bubble that he doesn’t even know what’s going on behind him. He’s not paying attention to the damage that it can cause.”

Good thing Coach Tomlin didn't tell his players to grab Brady by his *****. All Hell would really break loose then if that got out. Locker room talk is real!

Yeah it is pretty cool but irrelevant.

Bill Bellichick has been to 6? SB's and won 4 . Does he act like a 14 year old?

That ************ is a proven cheater. Don't ever forget that. And as long as that stench of cheating hangs over that man and that franchise, there will always be questions to the level of greatness he's achieved. He won **** for games when he was in Cleveland and NY. Hes also a sore losing ********** too (as Dungy can attest)

Bottom line is that after a huge win on the road in one of the toughest stadiums to get a road win, this is the **** that is being talked about. That is pretty much the whole deal with this Bullshit.

But that's everyone else's fault right? AB created this distraction.

No question. That is my disappointment. The only headlines should be Steelers win Kelce whines to be fined later.

Its done, its been put out for the public. Tomlin will address it with Antonio and discipline him accordingly im certain. Maybe keep him on the sideline the first series of the game. Who knows.

But as for the Patriots, we will come for them. I want them to know this. We can put it on a bulletin board, Twitter, FB, message in a bottle, courier service, chalk graffiti outside Gillette or message via Paul Revere. I don't give a ****, but they should know Sunday evening we have a date for battle and we wont plan on losing. If their team aint ready we will emerge with their heads in our clutches. It was never about their feelings or emotions stirred by what might have been said. They are in our path....they wont move, so we bowl em over. Im sure Tomlin already conveyed that sentiment to the troops.

Lets just go cut some heads and stuff em in bags and take what rightfully belongs to us. 1 path to 7 trekked by 53 warriors. "You'on' none" ~~ J Porter

I think AB is dumb for broadcasting Tomlin all over the world. .I'm sure he didn't want everyone to hear him.

Well, the pats know how the Steelers feel about them now. If I'm Tomlin no need to apologize to the politcal correct fans of the league. Go out next week and have them Steelers prepared to put an *** whoopin on those cheats
