Eli Apple might be available next season...

ahem, there was this guy we drafted in the 6th round, I think he played LongSnapper, LOL

Facts! And I came around on it this year. Never draft a LS. TMC and Del are 100% right. Don't invest in a position you can fill in FA.

I'd agree if we didn't have a starting NT, possibly use a mid round pick on one. This is not the 90s anymore. Hampton would be on the field for 20-30 snaps a game in this NFL. The run doesn't matter as much as the pass anymore. So if we need a backup NT, I'm not investing in anything above a 6th rd pick, and you can probably find some earth movers in UDFA.

Kicker I can see drafting if it is a need, and the kid was a stud in college. Not a first like the Raiders, but mid to late, you can invest. Punters, there is no reason to ever draft one. Fullbacks as well.

It's more of a money strategy than filling positions of need. We have great talent at WR, RB, OL, QB, CB, DL, and OLB. You have to pay those guys.

I hate to say it but one benefit from Shazier's injury, is it will free up $8M next year for another player. Perhaps Haden's contract is a wash since he goes up to $11M next year?

My draft needs:

#1 ILB
#2 SS
#3 QB (and you move up to take one high if there is a chance at a good one).
#4 OLB
#5 RB

Also Alualu can pinch as a NT if needed, with LT Walton played decent DE we have a 5 DL rotation with some flexibility. We definetly must add a 6th but not with an early pic, thanks.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports the Giants are expected to move on from CB Eli Apple this offseason.

Anderson's source said, "He will not be in an NYG uniform next year. Dude is done with NYG. Done." Apple has clashed with teammates and coaches all season and was just suspended for Sunday's regular season finale following a confrontation with CBs coach Tim Walton at Wednesday's practice. Apple's fate will be in the hands by whoever the Giants choose to replace Jerry Reese, but as of now, the 2016 first-rounder is a long shot to return next season

1. Qb
2. Ilb / fs
3. Fs / ilb
4. Te
5. Rb

Litos, ONLY if that QB is worth it at the spot we are picking or we have moved up. I just don't want to be taking one just to be taking one. I'm sure you're on board with that too but
I just needed a chance to express myself here, thank you

Salute the nation

His teammate Landon Collins went on record as referring to Apple as a Locker Room Cancer. No thank you.

Teammate quotes are worthless...ALL THREE starting CBs for the Giants were suspended by their team this year!
