Chiefs/Titans wild card game

I just saw the video of Mariota getting sacked and fumbling. I can't believe they called forward progress on that play. That might be one of the worst calls in history.

Because Kelce was a runner by the time he was hit. there is no helmet to helmet when you are a runner.

Ok that makes sense. I thought that it wasn't called because the guy who hit him had his knees down.

Second worse. ;-)

I’m more amazed that with all these controversial calls the NFL has not identified it as a priority issue. They can’t be good for the game, unless the intent is to “sell drama and controversy.”

Had the Chiefs won, it would have been interesting to see if the league saw to it that Kelce was still in concussion protocol for the Pats***** game.

well, if he were to still be exhibiting post-concussive symptoms, i imagine the team would be compelled to keep him in the protocol.

oh wait, wait, i messed that up, let me try again.

"yeaaah mannn, 'unca al' would've tooootally made a phone call to the chiefs' front office and been like, 'ay! you make sure he doesn't play against our beloved patriots, no matter what!', for surrrre maaannnn"

d..did I do it right?

nah mane yinz upsets were yesterday

today is the favorites towing the line

write it down

the falcons beating the rams was an upset? maybe according to the ridiculous betting line, but i don't think anyone who has watched football for more than a season or two would think that it would be unreasonable to expect the defending NFC champ to win a wildcard game on the road vs. a team that hasn't made the playoffs in over a decade, not to mention that "playoff newbie" team having sat a lot of starters in the season finale.

but yeah, conspiracy and stuff, predetermined outcomes and whatnot

hi

I agree Ron. Had the Chiefs won it would have been real interesting what the league would have done. Lynn is right Kelce is a douche. He would have put up a major shitstorm if he thought he was good and the league said no. He had a concussion earlier in the year and missed no time. I dont like him and am not particularly fond of the Chiefs either. However, Im pragmatic. They had a 1300 yd back a 1000 yard receiever and a thousand yard tight end. A 4000 yard qb with a 70 percent completion. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

hi
I picked them in my pickems. It wasn't a upset in my eyes but I am not Vegas. So according to the betting lines it was a upset. No conspiracy as there is only one team who cheats and has been caught cheating. You seem to be edgy on the subject even when it isn't a subject. Perhaps wait for those moments there will be more of them. Hi

not edgy. just unwilling to swallow the **** that gets swallowed around here. and that won't change, so if it doesn't sit well with you, move on to the next thread.

But that wasn't the topic or even close to the topic. You don't have to believe in conspiracy theories. Just believe in what you see facts. Fact one team has been caught over and over and over again. So when the topic is them, not much of a theory when looking at facts. Now when there is a theory outside of that team? I believe little to nothing. Pats are like this tree puzzle. You eventually know that what pieces fit. Through repetition.

Ive refed games with guys like this. Instead of bringing the crew together and admiting he didnt see the fumble and just blew the play dead not knowing. He rammed a stupid irreversible decision through convieniently. Where it gets better was when Kelce fumbled from having been knocked out. I originally thought it might be correct but looking at it several times he just had a limp hand on the ball. So coupling the make up call with the gory nature of the review they did the worst possible officiating error. Try to fix one **** up with another. While I dont think there is a conspiracy to create results I thonk this thing is kinda ****** and Riveron is a big problem moving forward.

That's the thing. When there is only one person in a central location, the NFL headquarters, then he's only down the hall or a text message away from Rog telling him how he'd like it to go.

I think he is pre-programmed to help one team. I think Goodell is just turning a blind eye.

didn't you own your business at one point? you can't possibly believe this nonsense, can you? i have to believe you're smarter than this, ron

You really have that pillow or was it sarcasm. Im trying to find a good pillow. The one i have is ok, but could be better.

Yes......and they really work well. Both me and my wife feel we sleep better. Bought a couple for my mom and dad because they were having difficulty sleeping.

Make sure you order one for your size. They are sized.
