I want to preference this with the D was awful, and the coaching was worse.

There was clear interference on the 4th and one against the pass which Ju-Ju almost came up with. This would have put us in scoring position and tied the game, giving us the momentum.

Instead, we turn over on downs. If a jersey is grabbed 5 yards past the line, its a penalty. Stupid refs. Thanks, you cost us points in a game we lost by 3.

Jacksonville did this alllllllll game long, and STILL got completely toasted on defense.

Jags were grabbing Steelers more than a drunk high schooler gropes his prom date. On Brown's awesome TD catch, Ramsey had a handful of his jersey the entire play.

agree. And PI on brown on one of his TD's (has his jersey the entire route) , PI on Bryant late in game. Refs were not going to call anything.

Not once during that game did I think the refs made a game-deciding call.

The 4th and 1 passing play to ju-ju. The ball and a first down and it’s a whole new ball game. Cost us a possession and score in s game we were chasing points.

It wasn't blatant. You see that play a ton over the course of a season and I don't get worked up over a play like that. I wouldn't want my defender called for that play.

Some Jags fans complaining about being jobbed by the refs. Same old, “we have to beat other teams AND the refs,” argument. The only specific call they could point to was JuJu pushing Ramsey into Bell for a hit out of bounds.

Juju did push him, but Ramsey also lowered his shoulder, so it was a wash in my book. The only other calls they mentioned were generic holds and PI’s that didn’t get called. I’m sure there was one or two, but I didn’t really notice them - not like Ben being tossed to the ground, the tugging on receivers jerseys, and he blatant PI’s on AB and Martavis. Those were easy calls.

Even Pete Prisco went crazy over the fact that Juju was being held and not a flag to be found. 7 officials on the field. 22 players. That's 1 officals for every 3 players and you mean to tell me that not a single one saw that? Bullshit.

It was a HUGE no call. I agree with Coach, that did change the game.

You bet your *** the Pats get that call...just like they did yesterday to get several drives extended by penalties

From at the game, I couldn't see the holding. I watched highlights when I got home and holy ****, they were holding every WR who caught the ball or otherwise. Unreal.

Did you not watch the play? It was absolutely blatant. It was so blatant even fact, even dipshit Fouts said so.

We shouldn’t have tried to be cute on 4th and 1 by throwing to begin with. QB sneak, and we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Stupid play calling.

This could be its own thread, but I think it pays to commit pass to interference on passes that could result in a first down given the high completion percentage in today’s NFL. If not intereferring will likely result in a completed pass for a first down, interfering is likely worth the risk as the result of the penalty and play are the same.

I think the Steelers would be well served to coach their DBs to be more agressive in coverage.

refs in our game couldn't find a flag if their lives depended on it, yet the dipshit in the end zone of the Vikings game threw a flag after Diggs made that last-second TD ... after the ******* game was over.

It's mind boggling to me that we rarely ever use the QB sneak. We use so sparingly that it would've probably surprised the Jags. Just don't get how Brady do it so well and we can't figure it out.

That pitch was ******* criminal. I rarely scream at my inanimate television. That did it.

That's why you call a QB sneak when you have inches to go and Ben has an over 90% success rate, otherwise you're at the mercy of the refs.
